Comments after tonights match suggests he might not be sticking around at Partick much longer. Would you take him at the Pars, perhaps in a player/coach capacity?

If he`s not re-signing at Partick then I`d guess he`s not signing elsewhere. Fantastic player but not sure we need a coach and he`s more than.likely.just wanting to hang up his boots.

You wouldn’t take the championship top scorer?

I think he meant he couldn’t go back to being a player at Thistle, having been the manager?

Fairly sure he’s going to be staying in a coaching role.

I’d take him in a heartbeat but I reckon he hates us more than any other team. Money talks tho and if we have it I’d go for it

I’d take Brian Graham in a heartbeat. Proven goalscorer at this level and would be a real asset as a player-coach, especially with the struggles we had in front of goal last season. Big physical presence, leads the line well, and is very rarely missing.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Lennon is looking to get someone in to specifically work with the forwards, we’ve lacked that kind of focus for a while now.

Massive loss for Thistle if he does leave. He does a bit of everything there captain, coach, mentor basically part of the furniture. Came across really well on that Open Goal Day in the Life episode too. Proper professional.

Fairly sure he will stay at Thistle in some capacity.

Would be handy enough still for a one year deal. Even if Father Time is catching up with him he could be a handy squad player for us. He is something we are sorely lacking, a decent physical target man who can hold the ball up and is a goal threat. I’d like us to sign someone in that mould. We need that option on the bench at least. We have lacked it since we released Todorov and never adequately replaced him.

No chance we’re signing Brian Graham. What makes anyone think he fits the profile of player we want? Did you read the article about data analytics ?

Not knocking him as a player and also think he could do a job for a season but he’s not what the club are after in my opinion.

I don`t think he brought the best out of the players round about him. When you just have one player scoring the goals, it kind of inhibits the others getting in on the act. Partick have regressed slightly in the last year or two. Although it does beg the question as to who might be available to solve our strking problems.

Nobody on this thread has suggested that we are signing him. Its just an open discussion about whether fans would take him at the Pars or not.

Yes I can, must admit this was the part I was puzzled with. "what makes anyone think he fits the profile of player we want?"

Considering we finished the lowest scoring team in Scotland, landing the top goalscorer in the league would be a massive statement. He only missed three league games all season, so reliability-wise he’s already a step up from Kane.

We’re not just signing youngsters to flip them for profit anymore. We brought in an out of shape Wanyama ffs. We need a good mix of experience and youth.

Graham could be a shrewd bit of business, not just as a player, but potentially as a player-coach. That kind of experience and leadership could bring real value off the pitch as well. Could be exactly what we need to rebuild a proper culture at the club.

I see he has also said he is resigning from managing the PT women`s team, although he said he made that decision some time ago. You could interpret all his comments as making it easier for him to consider moving elsewhere.

He`s already said that if he`s not the manager next season he is leaving. Doesn`t want to return to the dressing room after being the mansger.

If the rumours about us going for moult are true then it sounds like we’re not only going for younger players identified by the analytics, we’re also looking for short term improvement.

Graham would be a good option for a year but only if we bring in quality on the wings.

Every player wants to play for as long as they can and to be part of a Pars’ title challenge, work under Lennon and earn a good few quid, would be attractive.

Absolutely agree with this. If we’re genuinely in for Moult, it does suggest a bit of a pivot from purely long-term, data-led recruitment to also addressing the here and now. And honestly, that’s not a bad thing, we’ve lacked cutting edge up top, and Moult, if fit, gives us that focal point that guys like Yeboah who was signed from this mold didn`t.

That said, completely agree that it only makes sense if we back it up with proper quality out wide. No point bringing in a striker like Graham (or Moult for that matter) if he’s feeding off scraps every week. Getting the supply line sorted and a short term signing could make a big difference while the younger lads develop with no pressure to perform week in week out in a struggling team. The balanced approach feels smart if we want to challenge at the top of the table.

I suppose signing older players really is about short term objectives. If you want experience to help get you out of a league with a blend of younger players you can develop to play at a higher level, it`s a valid approach.

I thought Graham`s post match interview comments on the manager`s position at Firhill were ill advised - in any job application scenario you don`t make such public statements.

If you sign the right experienced player(s), they can make everyone around them better. Brewster being the best example in recent years.

Winning also breeds confidence, which lends itself to improved performances.
