Steven Pressley - new manager at Dundee. Looking nowadays like one half of the Corries but good luck to him.

discussion at weekend that Linfield had been approached for permission to speak to David Healy. Bit of a step back to go for another one from the merry go round.

I think that may have been a bit of David Healy self promotion more than anything else.

Another on the Merry go round? Only managed one club in Scotland and that was 13 years ago……..his last head job was 6 years ago.

Utterly bizarre.
You need to assume that their preferred candidates knocked them back. Should have sounded them out before sacking Docherty. There is no way this was their first choice. Seems a big downgrade. Shambles.

A lot of Dundee fans seem to believe it’s a four year deal, surely that’s not right.
I don’t think you could find one Dundee fan who is impressed with that appointment.

This looks like Strachan`s fingers all over it, like when they sacked McPake (who was doing a pretty decent job) and replaced him with McGhee.....
PBS hasn`t managed for 6 years, there`s a good reason for that........

There’s a rumour going around P&B that Lennon was their preferred candidate.
Absolutely baffling appointment.

It said on wiki a quick line about leaving Brentford for Dundee. Being part of a set up in the EPL may have taught him a lot? His name never seems to have come up for any other Scottish job though. Old pals act it does seem.

Head of Player development at Brentford - one of the finest clubs in the EPL at finding and developing players. He`ll have learned plenty there.
Could be a great appointment.
