 New Badge?

That top that Charlie Gilmour is wearing has an interesting DAFC triangular logo on it. Please don’t say that’s the Pars badge on strips.

Have posted this elsewhere. Lennon also wore a jacket in his PLZ interview with a jacket with another logo.

This will just be for leisure wear. The club badge however has been changed over the years, not the design but the colours.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I hope it`s only leisure wear, the badge awful. I remember a circle badge (70`s i think) with letters, and script in the 80`s, both preferrable to this triangluar effort,

I don`t mind it but it`s not our badge. A lot of this relates to international brand awareness. Clean, unfussy branding. A few big teams have done this already. Newcastle are the latest to do it and it hasn`t landed well at all.

Looks fine to me, it`s Malcolm Canmore`s tower from the badge.

Is there not a thing that after a certain period of time they cant protect the rights of the logo anymore, so they change it so that none can copy the current one?

Ps im not down with the lingo, what is PLZ?

Is this the badge in question?

I doubt if it`ll replace our real club or shirt badge, otherwise, why would our real one be on the wall when he signs?

That`s the one I was thinking of but, as BP`s mentioned, there`s another one that`s King Malcolm`s tower. NL is wearing it in his most recent interview.

Leisure wear. Branding. Instant yet up to date. Love it. On the game day jersey - no chance

I don’t think that’s the one the OP was talking about. He mentioned the one Gilmour was wearing, which was very different. Looks like we might be getting a few variations of different parts of the badge in this year’s leisurewear.

Maybe I am a traditionalist, but I am not fond of either of the new offerings. We have one of the best and most distinctive logos in the world of football.

Leisure wear due to be released today they said. So I can imagine the strips won’t be far away.

Honestly all you raspers need to chill… I highly doubt the club will remove our badge for the strips/training tops and shorts.
But looking at the leisureware stuff it looks decent especially the top NL was wearing..

Mon the Pars!
