"The Pars have shelled out a five-figure compensation package with a significant sell-on agreement for the striker, who has penned a two-year deal.
He could make his debut in the Premier Sports Cup clash with Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday evening."
“I am hoping to play first-team football, that’s my plan, and hopefully score some goals and excite the fans. That’s the type of player I would say I am. So I’m looking forward to it.”
"Transfer fees have been paid for the likes of Connor Young, 20, and Keith Bray, 19, with Shea Kearney, 21, poised to follow from Cliftonville."

Like a few of the players we have brought in and those coming through the reserves, he`s a great addition to the squad. Young players perhaps, but bags of potential if given the opportunity for first team exposure. We are starting to look like a championship threat.

Some of the Dundee Utd fans seen to think there is a really good player in him but his attitude let him down.
Here’s hoping he does the job for us.

Hopefully NL and team will sort that out. Having the skill is one part of the equation and won`t get him anywhere without the right attitude.

How about just giving him / new players a chance before jumping on them to criticise.

Aye, aged 17, playing first team football, against grown men.
What were you doing when you were 17 "Football Par"? I bet it involved shutting yourself away in your bedroom, with your special sock. Probably still does.
It`s weird how you can tell from people`s negative posts, that they are destined to be utter losers in life, their bitterness has to come out some way

Some of you are a bit precious, by all means pick a post apart if it contains inaccuracies but getting personal because the post is of negative tone is childish.
fwiw the signing is very left field as there`s very little on record to say there`s a player there, it will be interesting to see where he`s played and ultimately if he was worth the gamble.

Classic case of right place, right time. His attitude was the reason he was at the rovers and nobody wanted the hassle. We took a punt when no one else would and fair play to him, he’s kicked on big time since. Clearly had the talent, just needed to screw the nut. Credit to Crawford for backing him and to him for turning it round.
c'mon the pars

Potentially a great signing.
Re: the talk about Nisbet, I think Nisbet has admitted himself that he had issues and he didn`t apply himself. He obviously recognised that and knuckled down.
In relation to us signing them though there`s a big difference between him and McLeod.
Nisbet would have been 21 or 22 when he signed and came to us off the back of an incredible goal scoring season at Rovers.
A closer comparison might be between McLeod and Kai Kennedy.

New season hasn’t started yet and already people are slagging off the signings. Are they good enough? Only time will tell but I think we need to have a bit of faith in NL he has taken his time to get the players he thinks he can mould into a winning team. Yes they are young but with that comes enthusiasm, exuberance, a lack of fear and importantly no long term injury issues. Perhaps those complaining would prefer the experienced players like O Halloran, Wighton, Dorrans, maybe Breen or Chalmers. You know the lads that took us places in the past. He knows what he’s doing, have some faith, he’ll add a bit of experience before the league campaign starts but they will be well researched and right for the task.
