Great to see. I thought he looked very composed in the pre-season games. I wonder why just a one year deal?

Good stuff but only 1 year is a shame. If he does well, which right now looks likely, he`ll just swan away on a free.

Similarly, if he doesn`t perform in his first season at this level, we can move him on. Works both ways.
Hopefully he does perform and we tie him down on a longer term deal once proven.

Brilliant to see a player so enthused about playing for his team.
It`s a dream for him, he was chuffed to bits
Interesting that he initiated it also-hats off to him!

That`s a nice surprise finding out he`s a fan, a real M. Night Shyamalan twist. Well spoken lad too.
Hopefully if he`s good, he`ll happily sign an extension. I initially thought he only wanted a year to put himself in the shop window, but my guess now is that the manager only offered him the one year. Maybe there is something in his contract that gives us an option.

Perhaps as a fan he will have more loyalty. Dependent on progress this season and if it works for the player and club, he is more likely to sign in next year
