Does that mean 3 in total or Keeper plus 1.
And to say that would suggest the deals are done or will be done.

He`s kept us in it on several occasions so far.
Don`t think Munn will have joined us just to warm a bench every week so that`s bad news for Deniz.
Must be **** being a GK. Defenders can make loads of mistakes and get away with not losing a goal. Goalies only need to make one...

Lennon said a couple of weeks ago he wanted two keepers in so Mehmet might not even be on the bench in a few weeks depending if that happens, who it is etc.
maybe thats who the other one thats lined up is, if go by his comments yesterday it wont be a forward anyway.

No way Rangers would loan him out and not expect sizeable game time.
Unlike an outfield loanee who could play every 2nd or third game or come on as sub every week, this doesn’t happen with goalkeepers.
I agree Deniz has done well and aside from kicking has been a safe pair of hands but I think Munn will be starting vs Morton.

Find this one a bit strange.
Can’t see Rangers allowing Munn to come to EEP to warm the bench.
If Lennon decides he is going to be number one then Mehmet will be rightly peed off.
If DM gets injured then we will only have an inexperienced 19 year old between the sticks, hence talk of another GK coming in too….and if we do bring another one in, will Munn be number one or the new GK ?
Could we not just have signed a decent keeper as back up to Mehmet, who has done ok?
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

People have short memories of how poor Mehmet has been for the last 2 seasons. That`s why Tobi came in last year and the difference was significant. As he`s now gone, it doesn`t make Mehmet up to the job. We all know his failings and he should never have been given the contract extension that he ended up with. Hopefully Munn is an improvement. Time will tell.

Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition. Mehmet`s got from now until Friday to prove he deserves the Jersey, something he hasn’t had to do since Tobi moved on. If he gets the nod, then it’s up to Mason to show he`s the better option. That’s how it works in every other position. May the best man win.

And I can also remember Tobi making mistakes and giving us hearts in the mouth stuff on a couple of occasions with pass backs last season. His distribution was better than Mehmet’s for sure but I don’t think he was any better in other aspects.

If so then Lennon obviously thinks very little of Mehmet. The club would be as well negotiating a mutually agreed termination to his contract.

Mehmet has been ok in the league cup games but every time he’s had a run in the team in the championship he’s cost us soft goals by dropping clangers and ended up being taken out of the team. Hes spent three championship seasons with us and never finished one of them as first choice keeper.
Is this 19 year old the answer? I don’t know.

Harsh on Mehmet but I believe the club would like him to go but he’s going to sit tight regardless as won’t get the same money anywhere else.
Youngster comes in who again has barely kicked a ball in the man’s game and will come straight in, quite humiliating if that happens.
Mehmet is not good enough but this feels like they don’t want him in the team.

It’s harsh if it happens … he is our record shut out in a season keeper.
26 in a season. The issue is he played in some pretty **** show games outside of division 1. So his record then shows about 9 clean sheets in 60. You can’t hold a keeper accountable for the shocking show in front of him. Mehmet is decent enough to play in front of an untried 19 year old every day of the week

Surely it’s quite simple. He’ll play the keeper he thinks will perform the best. That may depend on how they do in training. Mehmet lost the confidence of some fans and as soon as we lose a bad goal you just know they’re will be some desperate to blame him.
If he plays Mehmet and he makes a mistake then he should have played Munn.

Never have dropped Mehmet.
Whoever he plays, let’s hope they keep a clean sheet.

And as we all know from Lennon, if they’re good enough they’re old enough.
I’m genuinely excited under the new ownership. It feels like we are building both for now but also for the future. Signing young players with quality but who have some experience of playing senior football, and a few with more a development role in mind. Yes would like a quality striker to complement Kane. Left wing back might need to be looked at as in system he is playing the wing backs play such an important role.
Lennon also appears to have the ability to build a team and the football we’re playing is better.
Pitch looking great, sponsorship and issue with strips resolved and although we didn’t qualify, the group performances were very different to this time last year.
Bring on Morton!!!

It`s interesting when a new manager comes in do they give existing players who have been poor a fresh slate or not. I`d hope Lennon can work out that Mehmet being in a specialist position and on a decent long term contract not being a starter tells its own story.
We simply cannot go into another season with Mehmet as our number 1. Munn seems highly rated but untested. I just think the minute Mehmet makes a howler it feeds through the team and support.

Tbh I’m a bit uninspired with Munn, Rangers fans are a bit Meh about him, however ignoring that at 19 he’s got a lot of learning to do and unfortunately a lot of learning comes from mistakes and as we know mistakes costs points! I’ll give him a chance and hope he proves me wrong.
If the Premier Sports Cup has shown us anything it’s that we are still in desperate need of a good 20+ a season striker. We have shown our midfield can make chances (far better than last season) but we just aren’t lethal enough- it could have been 5 against Stirling with a good penalty box striker and I trust Mr L to bring him in!
I don’t think promotion is on the cards this season unfortunately unless we can get that striker and the “older head” in as I reckon Ross County will run away with the league they’ve made some excellent signings and it’ll be St Johnstone in the playoffs final however with a couple of top signings we could pip them to that finals place

Every other keep doesn`t love crosses, distribution isn`t brilliant, loses confidence when things go against them.
I`d argue Mehmet starts for most other championship teams. We`re not going to get a world beater, while we`d all like more consistency etc it`s not always possible.
Tobi had a few brilliant moments last year, but also had a very few `what the hell is he doing and why didn`t he save that moments` but because he made a save here and there and could kick it a distance the perception is he was brilliant. Mehmet/Munn and the 3rd keeper will all be the same in terms of hot and cold days.
C'mon Ye Pars!

You`re right of course. My daughter ended up giving up football at 12 because she was getting dogs abuse from team mates after conceding even though they couldn`t defend for toffee. However Tobi made a good few mistakes last season but was still the best option we had. I agree with those that say Munn hasn`t come from Rangers to sit on our bench so hopefully he has what it takes.

I know Derek Gaston well, and he’s a good Goalkeeper and a top lad. Would agree with this, he works with the Rangers Academy Goalkeepers as his Full Time job so hopefully Mason Munn has picked up a few things from him.
