Just had contract mutually terminated at Ross County.
Worth a punt?

Yes, 100% yes.
Premiership level striker nearly his entire career and a Scotland call up at one point. Give him a chance to kick start the final part of his career - he’s only 29.

Scored a total of 0 league goals last season. Either at Ross County or on loan at Falkirk.
To quote a Ross County fan: “pound for pound he must be one of the worst signings in recent memory. Never fit, and when he was fit never looked interested.”

He’s had a few injuries over the last couple of seasons
Never got started on loan at Falkirk last season.
Would be worth a punt as he could be very handy when up and running.

Sounds a bit like Kane mk 2. Too much time with injuries.

^^ Morton apparently.
if recent seasons are to go by its too much of a risk but more so when Kane is in the squad and his injuries.

Absolutely not, would rather get in a young player that could be fit every week. Brophy hasn`t done anything of note in the last 5 years and there`s serious questions about his fitness and interest

He’ll sign for Morton and bag a hat-trick on Saturday.

No chance. Permanently injured & would demand big wages.. between him and Kane we’d be without about £5k a weeks worth of strikers for the majority of the season.

Absolutely Not! There’s a reason he hardly played on loan at Falkirk and Ross County released him. Let Morton sign him and partner him with MOH!

Glad we didn`t go for him. He has a worse injury record than Kane and County fans thought he was disinterested when he did rarely play. Falirk fans saying he looks done already second half of last season.

I suppose what this does prove is that players who weren`t available early in the window do become available later. You just have to be patient until one who fits your requirements comes on the market.

Might be worth a pay as you play deal until Jan or something but guessing he’ll want a better deal than that and not really a solution given we already have a striker who can’t string a run of games together as it is.
Good news tho as weakens country.

Morton must be struggling signing him.
Worrying though, fans from his other teams seem to think he starts well before finding his level of p1shness

2 year deal.
as for weakening County, he was nowhere near the first team thats why they have got rid of him and in doing so frees up a spot for a replacement.

He`s absolutely gash, and could rival Kane for sick notes. (Guarantee he will score against us though).

It definitely doesn`t, he was nowhere near a regular. If anything, getting him off the wage bill gives them a chance to strengthen further.

To be fair he was signed as cover for MacIvor being injured but barely played due to injury himself, not even sure if he started a game for Falkirk.

Presumable he hasn’t walked away from a good contract at Ross county for nothing tho so they’ll at least have paid decent money just to get him to leave so it’s not like solely freed that wage up.
