Think the better bet is St Mirren to beat Celtic. 16/1 is worth a punt

They`re not exactly a racing certainty, P77. Game on Thursday and your other favourite team will be desperate to make a good start. 3/1 still good odds v a newly promoted side.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Betting AGAINST any British team on the Sunday following a Thursday european game has been the way to go in recent years.

Yeah, Dundee Utd on the back of a Thursday night game, where they didn`t play well, and have a team that is clearly still trying to gel... Falkirk yet again winning the jammiest team going stakes. Although having seen Raith`s penalty award from yesterday, they have some serious competition.

So how much are you guys putting on Dundee to beat Hibs today?
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

This game stacks up pretty well for Falkirk. First home game. A full house against a team that didn’t pull up any trees against an ordinary team from Luxembourg.
They may well prove me wrong, but I wouldn’t be putting a penny on Utd.
Hibs looked decent on Thursday. You would fancy their chances against a side who had a poor cup campaign.

I`ll have a wee word with the Greenock Pentecostal pastor, who prophesied a draw for our game yesterday.

Desmond Tutu, buffy! Even I worked that one out!
Hibs 2-1 up at Dundee with two goals from Kieron Bowie. Has anyone seen him play? Some are saying he`s a future Scotland striker.

Cracking player. Unlucky with an injury when he first joined Hibs. Hope he kicks on this season. Really nice boy as well.

I see Michael Stewart is saying Kieron Bowie has everything you`d want in a striker and he should be included in the next Scotland squad.

Fair point. I suspect MS was saying he should be an established member of the squad and maybe even the first-choice striker.
I see he`s a Raith fan and got a move from them to Fulham which didn`t really work out and Hibs brought him back to Scotland. Maybe he`s a late developer like Kevin Nisbet.

Wouldn’t say a late developer. Had a couple of loans at Northampton during his Fulham time.
