Leaves Airdrie to spend time with his young family.
Surely if he wanted to do that he`d have resigned in the summer...maybe he didn`t get the signings from Jackie Macnamara he wanted

The Airdrie Facebook page (comments) have been speculating about this since the defeat to us last Saturday. Apparently there was a huge fall out between McCabe and a few of the board members. Most/all the comments have been deleted now, which makes the speculation even greater.

Think Airdrie will really struggle to stay up this time around.

According to the Record -
`It is understood McCabe has become increasingly frustrated by the lack of a new striker in the squad.
The Diamonds have let a number of key players go this summer, including star striker Ben Wilson for a fee around £200,000, but that hasn`t been reinvested in the playing squad.`

I could understand his frustration about the lack of a striker. Watching them last week I thought they have decent creative outlets but Mochrie really struggled physically as the lone front man.
