His little daughter, Remi, has died after 20 days of life.
Born after 26 weeks weight just over 1lb.
Wouldn`t wish it on your worst enemy.
C'mon Ye Pars!

Sad to hear. That is presumably why Billy Davies was in the dug out for our game through there. Hopefully he gets some time off to try and come to terms with things.

Absolutely devastating news. I could hardly speak after reading his beautiful tribute to his daughter. Condolences to his family and hopefully he gets a warm welcome next time he’s at East End. Children are a blessing and no one should have to go through this.

Absolutely awful. Cannot even comprehend having to deal with that and even more so having to try and have that conversation with the wee one`s older siblings.

This. It was a message straight from the heart and a beautiful tribute to Imrie.
I’ll be giving him a warm welcome to East End Park for sure.

The worst thing that can happen to any parent is to have to bury their own child. It goes against the natural order of life. Burying your parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters can be sad and painful but it is natural and we can accept it.
Thoughts and condolences to Dougie and his family.

As a grandfather of a three week old boy I am reminded just how precious each new life is. This loss is desperate, and I wish Dougie Imrie and his family the strength to get through this.

Sad news indeed, Thoughts and prayers are with Dougie and his family at this sad time, especially his dear wife.
This puts football into perspective and on the back burner too. Hope he gets time to grieve properly, as I know through personal experience this will be very hard to get over and move forward easily.
God Bless.

It’s heartbreaking to see what Dougie Imrie and his family are going through—truly a lump-in-the-throat moment. In times like these, it’s reassuring to see the football community come together in solidarity, with so many clubs publicly offering their condolences and support. I really hope our club follows suit, if they haven’t already. And if nothing has been shared publicly, I’d like to think they’ve reached out privately to offer their support. It’s the least anyone would hope for in such difficult circumstances

Absolutely devastating for the family. As a parent you simply can’t get your mind around how you can go on functioning after something so horrible.
