Does it not make you proud that the reason we ain`t playing today is because so many of our players are on International duty.

Rhetorical obviously.

Arbroath open the scoring today, against a hapless Ross County, and go above St J in the table.

I`d much rather be playing today, beating our rivals few weeks ago and joint top of the league

Next up, we have Arbroath away, then St Johnstone away. On current form, two tough tests for our lads. Of course, it is early days, but realistically, we need at least two points from these games. otherwise, we may start to drift away from the challengers.

Morton robbed at the end where Rae slipped but a foul was given as Morton bundled the ball in from a set piece.

Highlights of Saturday`s two Championship games can be viewed on the BBC Sport website.

Todorov scored Arbroath`s first - an unchallenged header in the six-yard box. Ross County had two goals ruled out for what seemed like borderline decisions and Arbroath`s late winner came from a stupid penalty conceded by Declan Gallacher.

Easton`s goal for Raith was `route one` from a kick up the park by the Raith keeper. very poor defending by Morton.

Do you know if championship highlights will be a regular on bbc this season?

I don`t know, HM. Maybe they only covered them this week because there were no Premiership games and only two in the Championship!

Highlights of the Championship, league 1 and league 2 are on the bbc website every week. It`s roughly 30 mins long. Usually from Mon to Wed and then they go to the spfl YouTube channel.

The flame still burns

Raith seems to be using the route 1 option to good effect. It looked to be a ploy when we played them at Starks Park.

It wasn`t always the case as they looked to play on the deck, too, but seem capable of varying tactics to suit the game and opposition.

The highlight package of the lower leagues has been going for several years on YouTube.
The BBC has adopted it this season but it’s much the same as it always was with in house commentary when available and voice over with the same guy as before.
