Surely Lewis Stevenson should be immediately banned, if they`re against all forms of violence, after his assault on Matty. Plenty witnesses and pretty good CCTV footage.

Between a rock and a hard place for clubs I’d say. Sensible response and valid across other clubs throughout Scottish football 🤔

Good statement, and agree with above between a rock and a hard place.
It wasn`t long ago that the bulk of our support was 40+ with real fears that support simply dies out, so (I live overseas) the games I go to (about 10 a season) to see a pretty large % of our fans being youngsters has been great, for the atmosphere alone is tremendous, and I have to say there`s been a lot of work to allow that to happen, Mr Cook deserves real credit making season tickets affordable, that`s been a strategy and it is paying off for us.
Without young fans, there is no future-but the behaviour has to be decent, it is sent great a couple seasons ago, but I believe it`s been ok recently.
Certainly we need to boot flares in the bin, we just need to do that. End of. All us provincial clubs cannot afford to police this, and the fact that Raith had to fork out 3K from busted seats from their own fans is ridiculous. We had the same, so it can`t happen.

Fair play, it`s a good statement. Just like our own "enthusiastic" fans, no-one is against the passion they bring into the stadium, but when the result is damage to the stadium and the club`s reputation, something needs done. We all know seats can be easily damaged when celebrating but not that number. That`s a result of people being bellends. Why destroy your own stadium? Why destroy ANY stadium?
Though at least they`re not as bad as the UB40 and New Kids on the Block fan clubs who keep spray painting signs everywhere. Absolute manky bastards.

One key witness was the referee and he didn’t see it as an assault.

Has our "Ultras" contingent shrunk since the new season ticket rules?

Think they all just got found out, or will only appear at the “big” games as per usual

We’ve still got a good group of morons, every home game there’s a bunch that run up to the away end after the match with their hoods up and faces covered.
Load of nonsense

Yeah, it’s shrunk and there seems to have been a few leader changes over last season. One thing I’ve noticed over the tail end of last season and this season so far, is that there’s a lot more Primary School age than Teenagers/Lads in their 20’s… i’m all for it, but the shouts of “if you’re not going to sing, f-k off out the section…c’mon” or words to that effect, get a bit tiresome as the young lads look about trying to find someone who knows the words to the songs.

I had noticed too that the amnesty on the underage season tickets seems to have had an impact on some familiar faces.
It seems a bit ironic that they tried to be all `look at us being the big I am` telling others what to do and what to sing when all along they have been short changing the club and denying others who would have paid full price for a season ticket there.

Raith`s finest had an away day down at East Fife`s ground on Saturday, obviously didn`t fancy getting a pasting through at Airdrie!
