Pretty comprehensive! That`s a good idea to have the next fans` forum at the Alhambra.

Agree. As much as I think the club needs to look after its own interests, Dunfermline Athletic is part of the fabric of Dunfermline so it`s good to see it supporting local business like this. Hopefully those attending will take advantage of the local bars and restaurants too.

That`s a good detailed update. Clearly brining in experienced players is a challenge, but for me that represents an opportunity for the younger players who have stepped up and taken their chance. Every cloud has a silver lining

Use [ url ] and [ /url ] without the spaces. There’s sometimes a space after the first set of brackets and the url address so watch out for that.

There doesn’t appear to be a time for the fans forum at the Alhambra.
ETA time has been added - 7pm-9pm

I, like most Pars fans was crying out for an experienced striker ( or two ) and at least one experienced Central defender.
Andrew Tod has been a revelation…..If we had signed a couple of journeymen strikers then he would probably never had his chance and by goodness has he taken it..
Central defence ? Who would have thought that an 18 year old John Tod would be an ever present in our team after a few games ? Not me for sure.
Rudden is exactly what we needed up front and yes, we may still need another experienced CH for reasons that we are all aware of, but for me I am enjoying watching the Pars again after two years of absolute purgatory……Will we win the league? Probably not. Will we go up through the play offs ? Probably not ..or even make the play offs ? Maybe……But at least we have a team on the park now that are heading in the right direction and are worth watching again because the last couple of seasons have been absolute torture.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Agree with all of that Desperado. It’s enjoyable watching us now, not the chore it has been the past few years.

I`m pretty much the same as Desparado too.
We all know we lack experience but the young guys have exceeded expectations and look really good.
The Tod bros have been a revelation that we could never have expected and plugged the gaps where I thought we needed experience.
We have to keep playing those two, because we have something very rare and special with those two.
If it means losing a few games due to lack of experience (like the Rovers game) then so be it.

I agree with everything above and I believe if you play the young players then they accrue that experience.
Hopefully when we meet the Rovers again, our players will be more experienced and capable of dealing with them!!!

Looking positive. Getting a decent set off targets and a cadence on reporting to hold yourself to account always helps.
Helps keep us grounded when things go better than expected, and no too despondent when we encounter an unexpected blip.

It would be interesting to know who was on our original `wish list` of strikers. Was Rudden on it but then taken off it when he signed for Livi? The decision to approach Livi and float the idea of him coming to the Pars is looking like a masterstroke. There can`t be many instances of a player moving twice during a transfer window and all three interested parties being happy with the deal. NL obviously approved the deal but, judging by his subsequent comments, even he seems pleasantly surprised at how well it has worked out with the prospect of even more to come.
