Late Partick goal keeps Morton within a couple points of us, a St J win would`ve been good but other than that these were decent results for us

The Queen’s Park score just emphasises how poor a result that was for us last week.

Couldn’t help myself! Sorry!

I actually think both statements are true btw.

It was an excellent result in Arbroath.

No Rudden and Caceras and we end up drawing with Queens Park who looked weak and inept.

The Queens Park match was more recent than the Arbroath one, so I`d argue it is more relevant in this context.

We`ve only played 9 games! So were going from euphoria to Armageddon.

Or, it`s always been a mad league, any result can happen, we are a work in progress all this season, we will win some, lose some

I`m still sticking to being around the playoffs -that would be huge progress.

As somebody said results today were decent for us !
But these will be imaterial if don`t start winning games ,
And we all know our biggest problem is putting the ball in the net !
So I am wondering where is our next Goal going to come from ? And our next game couldn`t be any bigger for us , Here`s hoping though we find a hero !

I’m in agreement with you. A well placed 5th would be huge progress. We’ve got a young team who’ll be quite erratic and it’s also a wild league. I do think our centre midfield is one of the best in the league and that’s going to carry us far (suspension and injury depending) and I think Caceras could be playing in the premier league. Maybe a season in the championship will do him well - I just hope we can keep him for next season-as long as his form stays.

If it wasn’t your team, I think some folk would be more level headed about it 🤷🏻‍♂️ come on dot net after whatever happens on a Saturday and a couple of drinks and opinions can be exaggerated

Aye, also we`ve been scunnered by a few years of poor stuff

We played a long spell against Ross Co. With some great football, Arbroath I have no words, and the St Johnstone game, once we settled down we played some great stuff, we also played a few poorish games, but the Partick game we were naive etc.

We might go on a poor run, the players will be rusty against the wee team I`m thinking, but I`m sure we will also go on decent runs too.

It`s a mad league.

Coat it however you like. 9 points from 9 games has us 1 point above the relegation play offs and a million miles away from going up the way. It’s been a hugely disappointing start to the season, confirmed by our league position.

Dont think anybody has suggested that, or even come close to it 😂 people have just stated they find the start to the season disappointing, rather than always being filled with joy.

I absolutely believe Lennon will get it right in time, but right now is nowhere near good enough.

Last few games have been toothless. Really looked poor up top. I think Andy Tod needs a bit of time out the team, but we don`t really have replacements. Kane looks unfit.

We have been going backwards last 3 games. Not good enough and the players need to start learning lessons, as do the management team.

No, nobody says that. We should be getting more out of our senior management staff though and that includes our CEO.

To be below Arbroath, Morton and most others after a full round of fixtures is nowhere near acceptable.

Lennons points per game must rank right down there with our worst performing managers, he isn’t immune to criticism and the club isn’t performing well.

It seemed reasonable to ask what to do if folk are disappointed. I can`t see how that`s putting a positive spin on things.

NL was hired to keep us in the League and he did that. Looking at his points per game last season is just daft. I`m sure we`d all like to be in a better position but it`s early days. I suppose it was inevitable the CEO would be singled out too. What about the owners? When do they get it in the neck?

I’m looking at points per games this season and we have 9 from 9!games, to we ignore that? When can we look at them….next season?

The owners don’t get it in the neck but they should get questioned the same as previous owners do. Crazy and ill informed to suggest otherwise.

Why did they appoint NL, why continue employing our CEO, why sign 20 players or thereabouts last season and this who are no longer at the club. Plenty of things to ask.

Ask away, but it`s all a bit premature in my opinion. I`d prefer to see how the season develops. It`s been very `stop-start` with these international breaks. I`m sure NL would have preferred more continuity and more time with the full squad to work on game management, decision-making, etc.

Ok, I will coat it the way I want.
We are 4 points off a playoff slot with a game in hand v the bottom team.

I`m confident that with a couple of additions in January, we will finish top 4.

RR fan comment after Ayr

"Don’t necessarily think it’s the players the fans are booing. The frustration is directed at Robson and his unwillingness to make subs or change things up. Raith just don’t look like scoring and the play is so predictable. Punt it up the park to Jack Hamilton who either gets beaten in the air or lays it off to nobody! Too slow in the build up and second to every ball.

Ayr out muscled Raith yesterday. Seems to be the story of the season."

St J it seems haven`t been scoring either so I don`t think it`s a Pars problem only. I think the difference for us is our overall standard of play has been good and goals and results will come

I recon 4

3 from Airdrie and 1 from RC

St. J will beat us, and so will Raith without Paddy and Rudden.

That’s such an extreme take 🤷🏻‍♂️ like nobody mentions it but you’ll jump to it because folk are voicing their opinion that the start of the season hasn’t been good enough. Which it hasn’t when you look at the league table - despite some really encouraging performances.

I honestly don’t know why you’d throw that out there. Do you want NL sacked or are you just trying to stir up an argument on dot net?

I wish I read this before I replied…

Like what’s the point of your posts?

I mean you complain about folk being negative towards the club but it genuinely reads to me like you’re the one that’s introducing sacking the manager, complaining about the CEO (who’s actually had praise from dot net recently for his updates) and the owners?

I don’t know why you’d start to include all these things and people unless you want them in the conversation?

If you need some help with your posts then you can run them by me if you like 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just find it weird you’ve spent years sticking up for players that weren’t cutting it on the park and managers that clearly gave up long before they were sacked to now bringing up sacking NL after so few games this season.

Yeah I agree. Watched East Fife highlights vs Celtic.
Decent game by the looks of it but East Fife should have had 8 or 9 goals (finished 5-3)
