Good to see that our exciting crop of youngsters are getting some game time at a fairly decent level for their ages this season.
On the back of a first team that had only 3 players over the age of 21, and had an average age of 21, for the fine win against the Rovers, most of the young guys on loan started for their clubs yesterday, with not one of them being on the losing side.
19 year old midfielder Ewan McLeod seems to have established himself at Right-Back for Dick Campbell`s East Fife in League 1, The Bunnet must trust him, looks like he`s an ever present in the side so far, with 15 appearances and 5 assists so far in the League and Challenge Cup. Good experience for him in that role at a fairly high level. Zach Cameron got the last part of the match for Stenhousemuir coming off the bench to replace experienced forward Dale Carrick. The Sutherland brothers faced off against each other in League 2 in the goalless Forfar v Clyde match, and Connor Young bagged a quick fire double in the first 7 minutes for East Kilbride (one of them assisted by former Pars Kid Lewis Spence). Dobbie played in a fine win for Bonnyrigg Rose v The Bankies, while 18 year old Freddie Rowe put in a man of the match display in a fine 3 - 1 win for Bo`ness at Celtic B, with Alastair Davidson also playing at centre back in that game. Sam Young also played at the back for Tranent in their 2 nil win.
Good to see this batch of kids establishing themselves in men`s football teams already at this young age, hopefully they can all learn from it and come back here stronger for the experience.

Cheers for this, it`s great that they are all out on loan, getting minutes in, and hopefully improving.
I also like to follow ex players a bit.

I was reading the Bonnyrigg v Clydebank thread on P&B.
Folk saying Danny Dobbie was a standout in the game. Some folk hoping the keep him for the full season and surprised he`s only 18.

That`s great, seems we have a real crop of young players, many won`t make it, but some hopefully will
Other news, I see Dapo Mebude has signed for Arbroath until January, good on him I hope it works, he wasn`t up to pace for us in a difficult team, but he`s lucky to be alive, and would be great if he can kick on in football -its a brutal business.
