Looks like a good crowd heading along to this tonight.
Caroline Weir`s Homecoming hopefully another 40 yarder.

There was an article today about the council looking at the parking situation. You have to accept a degree disruption living across from the stadium on a busy road but you shouldn`t have people blocking your driveway.

Be a lot of outsider’s appearing for this game that aren’t used to the parking round EEP. Granted they shouldn’t be blocking drives etc.

2-2 HT. Two well-matched teams; Scotland look better going forward under this new Australian coach but a bit porous at the back. Two assists for CW with a Swiss player diverting her corner into the net for our second equaliser.

Not quite sure why you felt the need to quote my post Hunter78. I’m not at the game nor am I watching it on tv. It’s not my cuppa tea.
I merely updated the score for people who are interested in the match.

Atmosphere is no worse than a men`s friendly... Thought its actually been a decent contest. If it wasn`t for this season, it woulddve been one of the better games at EEP for a few years

If you want a laugh check out the second goal Scotland U 23 women lost against Sweden. It was comical. I am sure the left back and keeper must have been drinking to be that bad..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

An entertaining game.
I think Switzerland have had perhaps 5 shots on target and scored 4 goals. Scotland have had double that and scored 3.

It filled up nicely late on.
Both teams trying to play on the deck and out from the back, I quite enjoyed it and would definitely look to go again.
A couple of well placed long shots were the difference where the keeper isn’t able to cover the whole frame of the goal.
A good advert for the women’s game imo.

Could have easily been avoided if we had been allowed to park in the middle of the car park like we do at home league and cup games that’s easily 200 spaces done away with when they do something daft like that

Went along to the game. Was a decent affair for a friendly and a couple of cracking goals amongst it. Good value for a tenner imo, even though I got a free ticket thru my SSC membership.
Anybody commenting on his thread putting the game down and bemoaning the standard has a sad little life and nothing better to do with their Tuesday night. Caroline Weir and Erin Cuthbert could probably run rings around them too.

Watched the 2nd half, and really enjoyed it, neither team were hanging around, and it was pretty non stop.
Was surprised at the size of the crowd, I was expecting low hundreds, but it looked busy on the TV.

First Scotland womens game I`ve watched in full. I enjoyed it and it was great to see Caroline Weir, who looked brilliant technically and was desperate to score.
I thought the system didn`t quite work. The manager needs to find a way to get Cuthbert and Weir on the ball more often and more quickly so they are in space.
The Swiss probably deserved the win despite their fewer chances. They looked dangerous and we looked fragile at the back.
Their no.10, Sydney Schertenleib (I looked that up!) was excellent in a kind of Brewster role. An 18 year old, who dominated physically, and plays for Barcelona! Some countries have all the luck!
