I see they`re at home to Airdrie on Saturday. The board must have been panicking over the result of that one.
Ours is the only Championship game off this weekend, btw.

The Beeb have finally caught up with the news. He was only 11 months into a two-and-a-half year contract.

There was a YouTuber who reports on behalf of the Rovers at the game at East End and he is level headed for such a young lad. What amazed me was the people surrounding him to the defeat. It is almost as if their bar of expectation is set that they must now be above the Pars at all costs or be near the top of the league? It is an odd one as the Rovers have in recent times been a team who sit high in the league then Struggle the next. The recent couple of years they have bucked the trend and the meltdown is amazing really when you think that they aren’t too far behind us in points!

Hard not to feel a bit sorry for Robson, who came in at a time when there were unrealistically high expectations at Stark’s after the Murray sacking. They beat Partick 2-0 only a fortnight ago, and a week later only a 91st minute equaliser prevented a follow-up win against Morton. But there’s a touch of the McPakes about it, with fan unrest at turgid football, poor use of subs, lack of Plan B, uninspiring interviews, and the prospect of years of dull mediocrity (at best) ahead. So appointing McCabe could be their Tidser moment - here’s hoping!

Raith Fantalk is hilarious. Lifetime fan reckons Barry Robson has been their manager for 3 years. The Wee Team sacked Ian Murray last season and replaced him with Barry Robson. Let`s hope they give the job to John Potter.

@Pars11 We have both forgotten that Neill Collins was there between Murray and Robson. The latter took over when they were already lower mid-table in December 2024.

Looking at their form I can understand why they weren’t happy but unless the Rovers throw some serious cash for a club their size at it - I’m not sure how much better a team Raith Rovers can put together. Their mistake was binning Murray after 1 league game and it’s basically lead to where they are now.

They`ve a good squad but an aging one. Those players aren`t typically going to improve each season. They should have been investing in more fresh blood.

This ^.
Facing a serious rebuild soon and their "arrangement" with Sevco is benefitting only one party and it isn`t the wee team.

I attribute lots of Raiths points to their absolutely stinking pitch. It plays nothing like grass, so it`s really tough for away teams to adjust.

I thought their transfer business in the summer was pretty poor.
They look an injury or two away from really struggling and have done well to get so much game time out of Hanlon and Stevenson.
Maybe the bumper contract for Easton in the summer (to discourage the move to us) has burst their budget a bit....
