How would you all feel about him lining up at the World Cup in a Scotland strip? He`s only had 1 England cap and would add some much needed quality on the wing as well as being a goal threat.
I`d be up for it but can see Clarke sticking with the squad that got us there.

Mens tennis fan.
Alternative rock fan.
Not a fan of much else.

Barnes current form probably puts him in the reckoning for England...I`d take him over Gordon right now, for sure.

If he wants to come he shouldve been sensible. We had maybe the weakest top seed, Greece clearly soft underbelly and a manager who knows how to qualify.
He is 26/27 and never getting near the England first 11 and will be too old by the next one. Should`ve taken a punt and made himself available at the start of the year. For me, its too late now for him. Yes he would improve us but we have to have some principals.

Was it just me - or did the commentator refer to "Scotland`s Harvey Barnes" last night?
Semed a bit random given that I never heard any more about him declaring an interest since some paper chat in November...

There is a strong rumour going around the Tartan Army message board that he has agreed to it and Hackney has had talks with Clarke also.
Weāll find out soon enough, I do take these rumours with a pinch of salt (Italian based Argentinian Strikers anyone?) but the original poster does have previous on this, thatās been right.

Fair enough. He is English so thatās fine. However, if he doesnāt get capped then we shouldnāt ask him again. Che Adams and Angus Gunn repeatedly turned us down until a certain point. I donāt know if Iām ok with that.

Harvey Barnes wants to concentrate on getting into the England squad, in much the same way that I want to concentrate on getting a date with Margot Robbie.

I suspect he`ll be in the next England squad, get another 1/2 friendly appearances and never be seen again.
Hes the type of player we need in the squad, especially with Doaks fitness record, but won`t lose any sleep over him. He`s made his decision, see ya.
