“The Scottish FA is proud to announce Barclays as the first ever Naming Partner for The National Stadium – Barclays Hampden.
This multi-million-pound, long-term partnership will also see Barclays become Title Partner of the Barclays Next Gen Girls’ Performance Programme and Official Partner of both the Men’s and Women’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup competitions.
The move demonstrates Barclays’ ongoing commitment to Scotland and Scottish football, having already awarded more than 300 grants to Scottish grassroots football clubs through its Community Sport Fund over the last four years.
Barclays Hampden will now play a pivotal role in supporting the next generation of Scottish talent and the Scottish FA’s extensive list of programmes that make an everyday impact in communities across the country.
Scotland’s National Stadium has a rich history, peppered with unforgettable moments.
Barclays Hampden is the next chapter in that story.”

When I was at college in the 80s there was a Barclay`s bank on the high street. They were still heavily invested in South Africa.
There were two cash machines on the street. Someone painted "Whites" above one and "Blacks" above the other, using the Barclays font and colour.
Genius.
I have no problem taking their money, but that doesn`t protect them from criticism.

Agree with BlackLight, accept the sponsorship, but in polite conversations in the corporate entertainment suite, mention concerns about certain investments.
