I heard two things today from an honest source who was quoting someone he claimed was a reliable source.
So it may, or may not be true ;)
Apparently Falkirk have knocked back a 6 figure bid from us for our onloan striker, and the Argentinian striker we wanted to sign from an Italian club but couldn`t get clearance, has now been cleared to sign in January. Apparently he is living in digs with another player just now.
If so, maybe he is already training with us.
Maybe if perhaps!

I hope both are true then, although I hope we actually sign Barney- he seems made for us
We also have Zac Rudden to come back though, and a few out on loan, exciting times!

Heard the same thing PARrot. F@lkirk aren’t going to let Barney leave on the cheap, especially to us

As soon as Barney got the U21 call up his valuation would have doubled. No chance Falkirk will let him go unless he does a Sallah😅
Maybe he would go back and say I want to play and we get him to the end of the season?

Hopefully another centre mid is top of the transfer list too. Midfield looked lost without Gilmour yesterday

He still had 18 months of his deal left when he joined us. So he’s going nowhere unless a team pay sadly.

The fact that Falkirk wouldn`t let us cup-tie Barney suggests they would like him back for the rest of the season does it not?

It suggests they want the option, but everyone has their price.

Let him go back to Falkirk. We will get him for next to nowt this time next year. If both parties are still interested of course..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

All, Barney has to do is kiss the badge next time he scores. He will never play for Falkirk again, lol

I think it`s fair enough for Falkirk to want a good price for him but equally we can walk away any time we want. We would feel exactly the same if the shoe was on the other foot.

With Ross Macivor injured, Falkirk want Barney back and in their squad. Can`t see us getting him back.

Well a guess we will see how keen the board are when it comes to splashing the cash for a striker. I personally dont think he will be here in january if rumours are true about the other 1 coming and rudden back aswell
Cmon ye pars

I`m sure that Falkirk would want money for Barney Stewart. He has certainly come in and performed better than expected and knows where the goals are. Falkirk signed him up on a long term deal obviously because of his potential. He still has alot to learn and develop in his game but the foundations are there. The challenge for Falkirk would be regular fame time in the premiership. I don`t personally think he is at that level yet and if he goes back, I can see him being farmed out. NL has said that he prefers not to have loan players so trying to sign him would fit with that ethos.
