Saw a picture of him today with a leg brace on. Knew he got injured against Arbroath but I have never heard what the injury was exactly or what the prognosis is or how long he will be out. A while I would imagine.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Ligament issue, 8-10 weeks, no surgery required. That update was about 2 weeks ago.

This was posted on COWS on 30 December -
The Pars boss confirmed that teenage defender John Tod faces an extended spell on the sidelines, but revealed the defender has been spared surgery following a scan on a troublesome injury. John has made 16 appearances this season for the Pars but hasn’t featured for the club in the four matches since he played against Arbroath on 6th December, and Neil explained the situation regarding the young centre-back:-
“The good news is that he doesn’t need surgery. But the bad news is that he’s going to be out for a long period of time – maybe six to ten weeks. It’s a strange injury, but there’s ligament that’s gone a bit lax. The surgery would normally pin it back and make it strong again but they reckon that with the right rehab and rest, he doesn’t require the surgery, which is massive for an 18-year-old. It’s good news on that aspect, but we’re going to miss him for a while.”

Noticed that Lewis McCann is out for the rest of the season after breaking his leg in a game against Port Vale.
