One report said he was out for a “number of weeks” - hoping that the weeks means not till end of season!

If he has just tweaked it and does not require surgery then he will be back before end of season….just. If it requires surgery then bad news for WC potentially….

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Some may not see this as a bad thing but Harvey Barnes form has vastly improved over the past couple of months. This means he might well hold out hope of being picked by England. I liked the idea of him playing for Scotland as he`s a very capable player and would easily become one of our best players, but I can`t see it happening now.

Very strong rumour on The Tartan Army message board that he has agreed and that we have also asked Hayden Hackney if he fancies it.

Hayden Hackney is high on the list of a number of premier teams. Michael Carrick wants him at United though it’s not clear if he has any input on transfer targets. He’s just the type of player Scotland could use a great ball carrier and link man. He’d be a great addition in my view.

Hopefully it is just a few weeks.

A few weeks break from football now might be a good thing come the world cup 🤞

There doesn`t seem to be much news on Ben Gannon-Doak? He`s not played since November so that might be a worry.

Doak will be touch and go. Won’t be fit until early April at best. Let’s hope he does not suffer the same fate as Hickey did with his hamstring. We need all our best players fit…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.
