I`d take either of the old firm away or F*lkirk at home.
Pretty much guaranteed we get Plastic whistle yet again, or a low crowd v St Mirren.

St Mirren wouldn`t bring the sell out like Hibs did, maybe 6-7 thousand in the stadium. F*lkirk would probably bring more and the atmosphere would be better. I`d rather we got half the Old Firm away crowd.
It`s moot anyway as we`ll draw Thistle, we have a habit of drawing teams from the same league.

Partick are who I would least like to play.
Since the start of last season we`ve been beaten by them 4 times, drawn one and won one. Our record vs them lately is terrible. I suppose an optimist would say, `our luck is due to change`! 😀

Aye, the money argument is ridiculous at QF stage.
The money for getting to a semi-final against anyone would be much greater anyway, but is football not more about trying to win a trophy rather than make a couple of hundred thousand - which won`t make much of an impact in the wider scheme of things?

Don’t care about a pay day I want to get as far as we can in the cup. Home tie v Patrick ain’t appealing but very winnable. Obviously if Spartans or Stenny get through I’d want them. If not any of the above st Mirren or Dundee untied at home. Anyone else think we really struggle to progress. Form needs to pick up tho been bit flat last 2 games.

We beat Patrick Thistle at the 1/4 final stage at EEP in 1968, so would be comfortable with a repeat of that draw.

A hill I`ll die on - cup ties shouldn`t go to extra time. Play 90 minutes, then go straight to penalties.
A team like Stenhouse, who have given every ounce they`ve got in the 90 minutes, are now dead on their feet. Falkirk have the advantage of fitness and stamina, not what a cup ties should come down to.
