We’ll soon be relying on Kane again every week - not had much luck with strikers fitness over the last few years. Wighton struggled, Kane and now Rudden.

I dislocated my shoulder in July last year and suffered ligament damage. I am still getting physio so unless Zak has been very lucky, I suspect he will be out for some considerable time.

I’d be surprised if we see Rudden again this season. This injury leaves us relying on Kane again just like we were under McPake 2 seasons ago.
The fact we haven’t addressed our striker situation is ridiculous.
Rumours of Morrison being suspended for the quarter final too means we are light up top.
Can we recall Conor Young as a final option if nothing else happens this month with regards to loans coming in?

Can`t recall Connor young now. We can bring back fyfe if needed as he`s a co-op loan. We do have Thomas who did fine against hibs, I think we`ll start seeing a lot more of him.

I would rather have Kane up front than Rudden personally, but I genuinely did feel for Rudden when he went down on Saturday. He’s not had much luck this season, move to Livi Hagar him in the stand, then came to us, hit the ground running before a good few months out with injury, and now this. Hope for his sake he is ok.
From our perspective, here we are again with over reliance on Kane…..but is Tod more effective through the middle than out wide?? Maybe so, he’s been there for much of his good goalscoring form. Is Thomas a dark horse who will step up in the way that Stewart did?? I don’t think anyone can really say for sure, a decent First Half against Hibs, before a couple of pretty absent cameos from the bench, I suppose time will tell.
