i`m assuming it will be on ParsTV.

note that as it`s an away game it would be for overseas subscribers, with Audio for the UK.

I would expect Morton to do a PPV

Maybe its the system that is wrong forcing people to pay extortionate prices to watch games on the box 🫢

not sure how you get that, extorionate ?
but lets not get into arguments about it.

yes, I will add that in my opinion the system is wrong and needs looked at, but you cannot blame the clubs.

I haven`t seen anyone charge extortionate fees.
When you consider also, that several people can watch for one fee, give yourself a shake.

Anyone tried to get the PPV from TonTV website. Nothing showing that I can see yet.
I notice it says Match Subscription holder only for previous games. I suppose that means it is a long haul through to the west coast?

I think you get a monthly sub for £20 which you cancel after the match

as far as I`m aware there is no block this evening and ParsTV will be streaming overseas.

I don`t see anything on Morton to say they are doing PPV or streaming. I have asked them the question.

Think the point is it will be the home club who would normally do PPV for UK viewers (not Pars TV on this occasion)

Got a reply now.

Good Afternoon Graeme,

Thanks for your email. I hope you are well.

Yes, this is correct however there are a number of regulations set by the SPFL in relation to pay-per-view match streaming.

Every club has a limit on the number of matches that can be streamed in one season and ourselves only have one match remaining which we are planning on using later on in the season.

Many thanks,

Alistair

Wow, so no chance to watch the game tonight. Odd loss of revenue to football.

Brian, if I have a hypothetical friend that would like to watch the game tonight and is in the UK. Could he hypothetically use a VPN to watch the game through Pars TV. Just asking for a friend!

Thanks Wotsit, I genuinely am staggered by the response and loss of easy revenue from Morton. If them is the rules, then Scottish football is in a worse state than anyone could imagine.

What is the dotnet fee once the hypothetical vpn has been hypothetically procured?

Is it on audio anywhere

So many UK games are allowed, everything else is overseas only.

Believe it may be 4 `open` games for worldwide audiences

Surely if pars TV are there anyway we can offer it to everyone instead of just oversees and offer to both sets of fans.

I know it’s not Brian’s fault, but it seems madness that clubs are happy to lose money. There’s clearly a demand for clubTV, especially on midweek games.
