The man hasn`t been here for a year.
He took over a very poorly performing team, saved them from relegation, then in his first full year gets them to a cup quarter final, beating a top Premier league side, manages a win and a draw against the expected champions and has us challenging for the playoffs.
He loses a few games and the sack the manager fanatics are back.
Yep that`s a sure way to make progress. Just sack the manager Every year, or even twice a year.
It really is difficult biting your tongue on here sometimes.

But as usual its down to the manner of the defeats, the seemingly lack of fight, mistakes pretty much every week, clueless on the park more times than not.

Yeah Lenny does great but then we lose a few games and we’re on his back….
We have lost 46% of our league games this season. Despite one of the biggest budgets. He has to turn this around and fast.
They players have gone backwards since the start of the season, perhaps they have had enough of him shouting at them and blaming the ref etc?
The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

Was it a penalty?
Did we miss good chances?
Were the goals individual errors?
Has he a right to be frustrated too?

How you can hold Lenny to account for Terrell being beat in the air by 4ft Ryan Dow and Mehmet punching the ball into his own net is baffling.
Some of our fan base are morons. Yes it’s been very disappointing since St Johnstone away. But up till then the players n NL were the best thing since sliced bread. Football fans really are fickle.

I think we have all seen Billy Terrell on numerous occasions coming off his line when there has been cover and in the past he has been lucky to get away with it and today I agree with NL what was he doing only he will know , As for Deniz well we know he is a bombscare and at anytime throughout a game can cost you the points , and the probable reason we do not have a decent goalkeeper is because of Deniz getting a 3 year deal , take these mistakes out of the game today and more clinical finishing and its a different story we would all be happy tonight
lets hope we buck up for Tuesday Night , because we need to turn this around quickly and get back on track

We are 4 pts away from forth.
It really isnt great, but it isnt the mess you are making out.
3 losses in a row can make it look worse than it is though.
I think we need to get behind them rather than kick them when they are obviously down.

I’ve been critical of the way Lenny set the team up at times but today wasn’t one of them. We looked decent, created chances and caused Arbroath some problems.
The switch to 442 worked.
We lost today because of criminal goalkeeping and not taking some very good chances, we were also denied a stonewall penalty.

I think sometimes folk underestimate the Championship and how difficult it is to put together a team to challenge at the top end.
Up until we sacked Allan Johnson I used to think it was our divine right to be pushing for promotion. Two relegations to League 1 have taught me that it`s a really difficult task to make a top four, or a title-winning team. It has made me realise that either Allan Johnson was a better manager than he got credit for, or the Champ`ship has become harder year by year since those days.
I agree with PARrot, that Lennon has had quite a hard gig. Some of the things he has tried in good faith have just not come good. For example, he probably had every right to think that Wanyama and Caceres were going to star in our team. Maybe he also had a right to expect that Amade could boss midfield, which hasn`t happened. Getting Barney was a masterstroke, but I`m pretty sure NL said of him, `he`s maybe been too good` - meaning there was no way after he became a goal machine we`d be able to sign him. Now he`s gone and Rudden`s out, they`re both significant losses. John Tod was a player who liked to carry the ball forward, but he`s been off form for a while. Andrew`s been off form, and others.
Against Morton, with Tash injured and - was it Ngwenya? suspended - we only had 18 outfield players and that`s including the likes of Bray and McLeod who are not established first team choices. On top of all that - we`ve lost our captain - is Bene going to feature again - Hammy was good for bit but he`s off form.
So it goes on...
And while NL has had those and more things to overcome, every game we have is against a hard team out to win. They have their problems as well and I`m as tired as anyone of hearing our players, management and dotnetters saying `we need this and we need to do that` - just do it.

I like Lennon, and there`s absolutely no way he`ll get sacked, but to say he saved us from relegation last year is giving him a bit too much credit, we really limped over the line there & Hamilton did us a favour with the points deduction.
The last 3 league games have been defeats, and yes, we beat Raith and St Johnstone before that, but the 4 games previous to the Raith game were loss, loss, draw, loss. That`s 7 points from the last 9 games...

We are half way tgrough a season with a young squad. I accept tgis is probably a 3 year project to build a team tgat can compete for promotion and more importantly stay up. These are early ups and downs, and for me its about being transparent and honest about where we are along the road and focus on the key aspects of our game that needs to improve. Refereeing may be an issue, but the referee isnt losing us goals or stopping us scoring goals. Its wasted effort to go on about it and its a distraction. Its about no excuses - rwo poor goalkeeping errors that cost the game and not taking our chances.

I thought the two goals we lost were goalkeeping errors. Its important to be honest about that otherwise you are masking the problem. His comments were out of frustration in the moment and hence the tone was a bit harsh. We have lost games this season due to such errors so the frustration is understandable.
The game has gone so its on to Tuesday and hopefully a winning performance.

They had two seasons in League 1 followed by one in the Championship did they not? No doubt there were fans calling for his head during his first season.

It took him three seasons in division 1 to get them out
