What an asset it is to have a manager like this at our club. His interview after the game was great, this being one of his biggest achievements in his time in football. I’m really chuffed he is our manager. Must be a great psychological boost before we even step on the park. So much respect for him and his staff. COYP 🏁🏁

There was a time when if you`d said to me at be at a jam packed East End singing "there`s only one Neil Lennon" I would have said you were off your rocker.
I think we are on the verge of a happening here.

Lennon has came here and done exactly what he is being paid to do. Stayed up last season, pushed on this season and even got us to a game away from a national cup final, beating two of the biggest clubs in Scotland on the way. Anyone questioning him is either an absolute thicko or has some kind of other weird agenda. We are so fortunate to have him. Whatever you thought of him as a player has no bearing on how he is as a man. He is clearly invested in our club. I think he’s happy here and I honestly think we are on our way to something big.

We are definitely better against teams who want the ball, there was virtually no difference to how the Don`s played compared to the win against Ross County, so it wasn`t a surprise the result was the same. We still lack ideas against teams who sit in, so lets just enjoy tonight and see what happens in the next few games.
I always thought we weren`t ready to make the step up, but based on performances, maybe we would fare better in the Premier league than the Championship?

If we can get Thomas and Turley to come back next season on season long loans, with the remit of.. “we want to win the Championship next season lads and you boys will be pivotal in helping us achieve that!”
Convince JCM to sign a 2 year deal on the same premise..
Then get Ox in permanent too in the summer, splash the cash Bord!
Find a Kano replacement.. replica even.. that stays fit, then we’ll win the league next year handsomely.. if we’re still in the Championship that is. Neil Lennon, and certainly myself would fancy beating Killie or St Mirren over 2 legs after witnessing that tonight! It was superb.

I agree with original post completely. He gives us an X Factor that makes it feel like we`re already a top flight team. The side he`s assembled are almost more suited to facing top flight teams because we can play. I don`t fear anyone in the Semi-Final.
After some bleak times recently under McPake (not all his fault) and Tidser, it`s such a great time to be a Pars fan again.

If you want a laugh check out some of the comments on the `Lennon out` thread which was started after the recent defeat at Arbroath I think. There were a lot of sensible posts there as well.
Listening to NL last night it sounds like he is on some sort of mission at our club and is far from finished with fulfilling it.

I get the impression NL and the management team enjoy wprking with younger players and developing them. He has had alot of success at Celtic, but this challenge is different. Its more about buikding a team than buying a team, and no doubt more rewarding when you see players develop. Patience is the key, as it will be small steps. The general trajectory is upwards so you have to accept the odd setback. A semi final and hopefully a top four finish. Im sure most fans would have accepted that at the start of the season.

I just checked when NL joined us. It was the 21st March last year, so he`s got two more games until it`s his anniversary.
We`ll either be fourth or fifth in the league. We`ll be in the semi final of the cup. We have a squad with JCM, AJT, Abdulai, Robbie Fraser, Amade, Gilmour, Kearney, Turley and Thomas. Players like Matty Todd, Hammy, Ngwenya and even Bene have been transformed.
I`m sure it`s not all down to NL, but it seems like we`re in a better place on almost any objective measure.

Lennon has been class.
I’m proud to have been behind him every step of the way, even if I have disagreed on formations or line up for some matches here and there.
There is no one else I’d rather have in charge of this project.

He`s a class act, clearly loves the job too, and it`s a tough job.
From the pre season training where he analysed and worked them hard, it`s clear if the players work hard and well they get a chance, if they are slacking or in for an easy ride,he doesn`t think twice about sending them out on loan or dropping them
His judgement on players is excellent.

Even though he is clearly a Celtic supporter, his punditry today was balanced and fair. Compare that to the slavering, biased, Alan Hutton.

Would be nice to do a Happy 1st Anniversary Niel Lennon display.

I think you might mean Jason Canning and his dad Martin. They used to do the tifos and generally keep the Section NW guys involved with the football club as best they could. I believe they stepped back from this several months ago.

I think he`s brilliant and you can see and feel he`s invested in our club. Not getting ahead or that but I think we will beat Falkirk. We`ve a manager who hates losing . I hate it too. Spread the word and lets out number them. Back the boys to the hilt.

Anyone else have that wee sneaky feeling that we could actually win the cup this season? We’ve dumped out two of the biggest teams in Scottish football who have absolutely hated the high press that we have played in both games Falkirk have rode their luck a bit this season and mcglynn will do what he always does and bottle it in a big game the midden are nothing special and where oh where do we even begin with what is the worst Celtic team in the last 40 years
Beat Falkirk and we better get the open top bus booked cause the cup is coming back to Fife

He is connecting with the players and fans and thats half the battle !
Watching from the US it made me smile seeing his little `airplane` celebration after the game in front of the NW - A little nod to past success and showing his knowledge of the history of the club.
