They have been given permission by St Mirren to speak to Stephen Robinson.

Hilarious. Months of chasing every possible foreign coach and interviews they`ve decided to go for the coach down the road. No wonder Dons fans are raging.

Losing to the Pars has made them realise how dire their situation is!

I’ve read a few Aberdeen fans mention Lennon. I honestly think he wouldn’t be interested. He’s good a good gig here and we are on the up. Aberdeen are going nowhere.

Going after Robinson shows a complete lack of ambition by Aberdeen.

I honestly don’t think there are any team in Scotland that would make him leave at this current moment. He’s not going to the old firm or hearts anyway. I do wonder what will be the next step for Lennon. I’d like to see him in charge of the national side. That would be controversial though considering how many muppets are involved in Scottish football.

Strange one considering they had a prospective new manager ditting with the Sporting Director at a game 7 days ago.

That makes no sense at all to me. St Mirren are one game away from another cup final. Why lose your manager now.

Agreed, Zod. Pressure of expectations would be much higher at Pittodrie. Pars would be happy to reach the Premiership and consolidate our place. Aberdeen think they should be challenging for the title and winning cups.

I think Lennon has had enough of all that comes with a high pressure job. He could be sacked in a month.
Too much pressure and he doesn`t need it.
He has won titles and cups. Dunfermline is a new challenge for him. Here he has a chance to truly build a legacy.
At a top club he will soon be forgotten and just be one of many managers rarely mentioned again.
If he succeeds in developing and maintaining the Pars into a top 6 team, he will get legend status and be spoken about for years to come.
Shades of Jock Stein I recon.
