Champions league:-
Spurs 4-7
Man City 1-5
Newcastle 3-8
Chelsea 2-8
In my mind that’s a lot of hammerings for the top tier of English football.

Arsenal and Liverpool still in there but maybe not favourites to progress to the last 4.

They obviously pull a lot of the top players however I don’t think they are as far in front of everyone else as they think they are.

I would suggest that because more clubs there have the money to rival Bayern Munich, Real Madrid etc they will attract a certain level of talent however there is only so many players good enough for Real Madrid etc so a lot of the English clubs are over paying players.

I just don’t think Aston Villa are that much better than say Atalanta
