Funny you should say that HF, I saw Barney in his Scotland trackie with (I presume) 2 of the Scotland medical staff in the waiting room at Nuffield Hospital on Wednesday. Here`s hoping he has a wee niggle that he cannae shift.

Whatever was bothering Barney on Wednesday presumably cleared up as he started tonight.
Watching that game it struck me that nothing has changed re our young players. As seems to have been the case for as long as I can remember the opposition players were technically superior and our players had to compensate by organisation, effort and determination.

I like Barney a lot, I think he`s the real deal and will have a fine career. I hope he scores a hat-trick in the Semi-Final, and that the Pars win 4-3. :)

Article on COWS confirms Andrew Tod will miss Tuesday`s game against Portugal through suspension but doesn`t say whether he will travel with the Scotland party or return to the Pars early.
