Not sure if this has been covered, but I`ve been told that otoo and the gaffer had an argument and he`s been told that`s him finished with the pars.

Yes, that a trifle sad, if true because it looked as if he might have a real future in the game at one point.

He was part of a team that barely stayed up for two years running - out of the team we are comfortable in 4th and in a Scottish Cup semi…..its not a coincidence.

was the hospital bed photo he did after ankle surgery a month ago part of the cover up?
should have taken the money and drove him to whoever it was last summer.

I`ve only been to a handful of matches in the time he`s been with us, and I know at one point he was rated as someone with a lot of potential, but I`ve never seen him have more than an ok game for us

I liked Otoo as a midfielder. He had a great shot on him striving forward.
People commenting on this thread aren’t taking into account he was played well out his natural position.

The thing is, he’s never had a “natural” position. He’s not good enough at left back, isn’t tactically aware enough to play centre half and is too clumsy to play centre mid. All IMO ofcourse. He’s an athlete, but technically I think bottom end of the championship is his level.

Lennon has challenged every player to up their game this season on a consistent basis. Otoo is probably unfortunate at the moment with the injury that`ll keep him out the rest of the season and impact his chances of showing he can compete with the other players on their game.
Some people have very short memories, he has at times been superb for us in very poor teams over the last couple seasons and not so long ago people were talking about commanding six figure fees for him. Sometimes these things happen in football, hopefully he can recover and kick on

I always liked him further forward but that was at a time where our squad was pretty dire. Like KRH he shone in league 1 as did others. His best position is probably defensive mid but at this moment I don’t see how he gets in the squad.

It was stated a while ago he`d picked up an injury and was out for the season, doubt there`s anything more to it than that

Otoo in midfield is Abdulia in defence.
Stops most balls.
But you need a different player in midfield .

I believe he’s injured but he’s well down the pecking order atm. I think there’s a player in there but I do t know if he’ll get the time to improve while he’s with us.

We’ve got a few “players in there” but, the big challenge is getting it out of them. It takes commitment by the player as well as the coaches. I would really like them to find it and get it out of KRH as well as Otoo because i do reckon they’re both better than league 1. I also loved their enthusiasm for being at EEP in their first season (in league 1). I guess time is running out for them both, but a shame that we haven’t got more out of them.

There’s probably something in the rumours as Otoo is never mentioned when Lennon is asked about injuries ahead of game day.

Another who like KRH looked great in league 1 but lacked the nouse among other things at the higher level to make any impact. As mentioned doesn’t really have a position so where do you play him?
I’m sure he’ll get a full time gig perhaps league 2 down south.

Otoo looked great in a poor team in seasons past, he was the stand out no doubt about it. However, as the squad this season has got stronger he’s been found out and I believe from what I’ve heard there’s been disagreements behind the scenes with him and staff. Mainly regarding a niggling injury. His time at the Pars is done.

Euan had an ankle injury in February and was going for surgery early March. He was expected to be for the rest of thr season. I thinks thats the sum of it.

Otto is a big/strong player but that is it….his technical ability and thinking before he receives a pass is lower championship/league 1

think if we have learned 1 thing under Lennon is that nobody is "in" and nobody is "out".
Late last year Ngwenya wasnt even making match squads and Bene was nailed on starter. Now Ngwenya is one of the first names on the teamsheet and its 50/50 if Bene makes the squad.

Unfortunately for Ewan this season has just not worked out for him. Instrumental in helping to keep us up last season with the winning goal v Livi. Best of luck to him wherever he ends up. Maybe down south? If Lewis McCann can then Otoo can….
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Otoo was given a chance at LCB this season but ultimately lost out to Ngwenya who performed better when he came into the team.
I think Otoo has the physical attributes to be a useful player and wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up down south as there had been clubs up looking at him. He was one of our better performers over the last few seasons.

Otoo was never going to get a game ahead of Gilmour, Amade, or our settled back three with Todd in the mix. It’s probably time for both parties to move on. Sometimes things just don’t work out, and I think this is one of those.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

We`ve got plenty to be thankful from him, particularly the season when everyone was ` injured`
He filled in everywhere it seemed, I think to his detriment.
Hasn`t played much this season, but even then he had a couple of stinkers. It`s time for him to move on I guess, and get on with his career.
He`s out for the season with his operation anyway, would be astonished if we offered him a new deal.
He was as a favourite of mine, if nothing else for playing when everyone else was falling down , same for Hammy.

Completely agree with that. Our German owners complete lack of funding of the squad aligned with some questionable contract extensions and signings put massive pressure on the players who stayed fit and players who weren’t fit and were asked to play. I really liked Otoo and it is a shame in retrospect that he didn’t get the move.
