The Pars Tackle Health initiative is one strand of our club`s Schools Engagement Programme and is run under the auspices of The Pars Foundation. This season has seen it enjoy its most successful since its inception in 2014.
33 different Pars players visited 26 different primary schools in Dunfermline and the surrounding villages to engage with a total of 1320 upper primary children. The players` contributions are absolutely crucial to the success of these sessions. Every single player approached each visit enthusiastically and professionally, making them wonderful ambassadors for the Pars. A big thank you to all the players, to the manager for making them available, and to Gary Montignani for organising the player rota.
Thank you, too, to the Pars Foundation coaches who attended all the schools to set up the games sessions. Last but not least, thanks to Sandy Wyse and Derek Allan, for their professional and entertaining delivery and coordination of each weekly visit since last September
Not your average Sunday League player.

Tell you what, thank you to the people that work behind the scenes to make this happen and the players for buying in to it. That`s some amount of young people to engage with, it`s work like this that will inspire the next generation of Pars fans and grow the fan base. Well done to all involved
