Robison has confirmed he was at East End on Tuesday night to carry out a personal scouting mission but the player in question didn’t play.
I’d imagine it’s Mullen.

If I’m not mistaken, Mullen would be free as contract expires end of season but fraser would cost at least 10 million. So more than likely Mullen.

With Mullen being out of contract you’d guess it would be him. Have always thought he’d end up at a Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen or back down south.
Can’t imagine he’ll stay with us unless we get promoted and win the cup.

Mullen will be away, no doubt about it. Money talks and he will be offered a nice pay day elsewhere.

The lads done really well for us, I’m hoping NL can convince him to stay another year. It will most likely come down to finances - and not end up in the same way as Faisal debacle.
The way the players - NL talk about the place is night and day from before good positive vibes around the club and the teams finally knitting together to play in the best pars team I have seen since Brewster and Crawford era.
Really think we should pull out the stops for this lad.

I`m not sure he will sign a contract if we fail to get out of the championship, but you never know I suppose

Why would he sign a new contract if he knows bigger clubs have him on their radar ?
Unless he was made an offer he couldn`t refuse.

Well, respect for the club, i know a boy that done that, could have left for free but signed a 2 year deal, but the same summer he was away

People need to adjust their mindsets. JCM has been with us for around 15 months. The experience has been mutually beneficial he doesn`t owe us any loyalty

Football is a brutal sport - once a club decides it has no further use for a player he is discarded at the end of his contract, no matter how successful or loyal he has been, or even if his career has been disrupted by injury while employed by the club. EG I think it`s unlikely Ewan Otoo or Kane Richie-Hosler will be offered new contracts.
A footballer`s career is short, and could end at any moment with a bad injury. I would love to see Jeremiah continue at EEP in the Premiership, but if some club offers him a multiple of his Pars salary at a higher level of football (eg Josh Edwards) then he would be ill-advised to turn it down, IMO. Whatever he decides I wish him well.

It was clear from when he joined us we were a short stepping stone in his eyes to bigger things. He and his agent would only sign for a year so to me that spoke volumes. Good luck to him in his future endeavours, hopefully he gets a starting slot wherever he ends up.

I think I preferred the days where a player could be sold/bought at any point of the season.
It encouraged the players to sign a new contract with the promise they could move on with the right offer.
They and the club benefit.

You are correct, Ricky. That was the deal. That’s why we were able to get such a good young player.
He may change his mind depending on how our season ends ?
Good luck to him.

I think if any player has the opportunity to play in a higher division they will take it. It depends on what they feel is better for them. He has come on leaps and bounds and been a regular in the U21. You cant stand in his way, that football. I would hope he would stay but he has to do the right thing for him.

Shame if he goes but it`s a sign to eager young players that the Pars are a solid club to develop at.
