Always thought about a strip like this. Would love your thoughts.
Basically a strip that has fans/players names past and present - memorial’s well you get the gist.
I think it would be amazing if club done something like this if we won Scottish cup add all past and present players and coaching staff as well as fans raising funds for local charities by paying to have name displayed.

I`m sure one club did something like this in the last few years, by designing a shirt made up of former players` names, but I can`t remember who it was.
I can imagine that deciding whose name should be included would cause a lot of problems, unless it was tightly defined at the start (eg only players who took part in winning cup runs). Otherwise there would be loads of borderline or doubtful cases - eg loan players, unused substitutes, non-coaching staff members, directors etc.

Yes, that`s an idea I have suggested several times over the years on here, definite money spinning for the club. I emailed the glab about it too but never got a reply.
It was Málaga who had the shirt for their centenary, with the stripes made up of the name of every player that had turned out for them in their history.
My suggestion was that you would charge fans a fee of say £20 to get their name, or a family members name on the shirt, it would be a win win as not only would they pay the fee, they would also buy the shirt, it`s sell more shirts than the Skids.
Aberdeen unfurled a new banner last week, it`s massive, covers the entire stand. The design incorporates the names of supporters, one of my friends paid for his family`s and friends names, some of whom are no longer with us, to go on the banner, which I thought was a lovely tribute. It looks amazing

Thanks for the feedback guys. I certainly agree with you red star par it would raise significant funds and would make it more personal to wear.
It should be considered although next seasons will already be at final stages or even production stage. To be ready in time for release.
Great to hear about Aberdeen fans I will see if I can find an image of it.
Stanza I don’t think it would be difficult to do, the names would be entered into a design template and generated from a list provided. Names would be bought and paid for at point of sale added to database. I genuinely feel this would be a fantastic opportunity for the club to generate a personal and important link to the fans past and present and community.
Hopefully one day the club will do this but seeing the AI image shows it can be done and be effective only concern is if the league kit rules prevent it from being worn during competitive matches

I think one that just included the names of previous DAFC Scottish Cup winner squads should be great. Especially if we are victorious and can add the current squad’s names. Could have the DAFC badge on the front and instead of the a number on the back it could have the date we’ve won the Cup. Or the club badge from that time. I personally wouldn’t be into one with random supporters, family or friends names on it.

rangers released something similar. All the names of fans so saved them from liquidation in 2012

Did Livingston not do similar about 20 years ago? Can’t find any info on it but I’m sure they had a kit with names of fans printed into it.
People would buy into it for sure.
