F*ck the Glasgow pair!

Having lost league cup v St Mirren and if they lose league today they will be laser focused next week.
Winning today might take their eyes off the prize next week..

Keep his hand down...
If it hits his near hand, it`s not a penalty, but the "silouette" was bigger as the ball was passed his body, without hitting the hand, the ball would`ve went across goal

Honestly thought this season could have been a big moment for the game in Scotland. A different winner after an exciting season could have sparked something and shown Scottish football in a different light, maybe attracting players who wouldn’t have considered it before. Or maybe even boosting media interest and telly money for a more competitive product.
But nah, another one in the trophy cabinet for Celtic instead. A title they’ll probably have largely forgotten in a couple of years when they’ve gone on to add another and another. It’s all so sadly inevitable.

Celtic will never face sanctions off the SPFL, no matter how often their fans invade the park or launch flares on. It’s just not going to happen. And folk wonder why some people prefer the national team.

They can only win the Double .as St Mirren won the League Cup

A little piece of my love for the beautiful game died with Hearts title hopes today.
I feel they were robbed twice this week with Motherwell at the epicentre.
The rational side of my brain understands human flaws and these things happen in football but I am genuinely gutted for Scottish football
Yeah this sums up how I’ve been feeling too.
Only way I can be saved is if we get a dodgy VAR penalty in our favour on Saturday 😉

A Hearts win sends a message that it can be done. Today only reinforces the fact that the glass ceiling still exists and is as strong as ever . Hopefully Tony Bloom throws some of his millions at it though and Celtic employ a diddy in the Wilfred Nancy mould next season so Hearts, or any team, can challenge again next year.

We all know the SPFL/SFA will not uphold their own laws and claim that the final whistle was blown as soon as the ball crossed the line…..despite Robertson looking clueless in the tunnel as it all unfolded.

Scottish football has been shambolic for years, and
it`s getting worse. Big changes are a must. Bigger league`s
for a start. I am so fed up of seeing us play the likes of
Arbroath 4 or sometimes more in a season. Bring an end to these
stupid play offs. Increase the league`s and have 3 up 3 down
or something like that. Referees need to be a lot better.
Some of shouldn`t be even a game in the Sunday league`s.
Celtic have had everything in their favour. Time it was all stopped

There is a twitter post that states that Hearts have lodged an interim court interdict tonight to force the SPFL to preserve the audio of today`sgame to establish if/when the final whistle was blown.
The post suggests that if the pitch invasion started before the whistle, the game will be awarded 3-0 to Hearts. Seems too good to be true?

It was a stone waller of a penalty and the first goal is just clickbait online claiming it’s offside because of Maeda when he wasn’t interfering with play.

I think that the "friendship" you allude to goes back to the season we played our last game at Parkhead under Jim Leishman. Celtic were champions and we were relegated, but there was a friendly atmosphere among fans of both sides.
I agree that a significant number of Celtic and Rangers fans are an embarrassment to Scottish football. The only way to cut this cancer out of our game is to make their clubs play behind closed doors.

To tar all Celtic and Rangers fans as "utter dregs" etc. is nonsensical, embarrassing and ignorant - in the literal sense of the word.
I know/ have known Celtic fans from a wide variety of backgrounds - doctors, dentists, opticians, lawyers, teachers, a very senior police officer and military personnel etc, as well as "ordinary punters" none of whom could be remotely termed as above.
Also a few Rangers fans likewise.

Well, the laws of the game state a ref needs a whistle, and one of the reasons is to end the game. Which suggests he might have got it wrong..... a common occurrence it would appear!

I`ve often thought it strange that there seems to be no formal way for a ref to signal a goal. I thought they used to blow their whistle and point to the centre spot when a goal was scored but now they seem more interested in making sure players don`t over-celebrate. I usually check that the AR is running back to the halfway line rather than look at the ref.

Having experienced a loss in a scottish cup final, albeit i was 14, none of us got changed at all after we were beat as we were just that upset, so it probably wasnt done to add impact to photos tbh

I don`t think there`s necessarily conscious bias but there`s definitely bias there. I think it`s the pressure of two clubs who have far more fans and far more sway in the media. You get a decision for the Pars wrong and you feel the wrath of this forum. You get a Celtic or Rangers decision wrong and your windows are panned in and your car tyres are slashed.

Agree, brainless and cowardice sfa/spfl will do noting. You can invade a pitch, threatening supporters, threatening staff, threatening players, invade before end of match and have a riot in the town. And the authorities the police the clubs and the sfa/spfl do nothing pretend nothing happened. And then hold an indeoendant inquiries on old firm match, because this gives a chance to be watered down let everyone forget so do nothing. And the hearts match we have heard nothing except it was declared full time and not abandoned, which is a lie nothing on the threats violence etc. Also nothing from the club`s except, martin O`Neil stating that if there was violence it`s wrong, come on "IF" Watch the tv.

Sorry, doesn’t matter whether anyone was hurt or not. Nobody knows what scumbags are on the pitch, their intentions or if they’re carrying weapons. What if Hearts had won the league.
Let’s not kid ourselves, this is not the first time Celtic fans have been on the pitch, (in win situation.)
As to final whistle blowing, ref may have decided in the interest of safety to get everyone off the pitch asap.

Worth remembering we did a pitch invasion not so long ago at Greenock. The difference is no-one assaulted players and no-one had to be rushed away to their team bus still in their strips!

Spectators should not be on the pitch, it`s as simple as that.

"Theres no point in debating it, he will defend them to the hilt 🙄 has already “debunked” the KMI panels decision that Hearts weren’t rewarded a stonewaller v Motherwell….."
we are now into day 5 and not 1 person had provided any footage or detail about "assault". Were fans on the pitch YES, should they be there? No, could you excuse 1 or 2 as "exuberance" where the scorer was celebrating? Probably. Kids running on for selfies, adults running on and taking pics of them with kids, handful of idiots looking to wind up opponents following one of the closest title races the country has ever seen.
I debunked the KMI panel completely not the specific motherwell vs hearts incident. Its made up of people who are not qualified in laws of the game. If I wanted Kris Boyds opinion i`d tune into sky sports for it not sit for a "panel" to suddenly become factual when they are sharing an opinion

Firstly Shanklin was effectively assaulted
Definition
Assault is a legal and general term that refers to the act of intentionally or recklessly causing someone to fear immediate and unlawful personal violence, or physically attacking them.
Sorry it was assault, and I have seen some vids online of others.

Isn`t it bizarre that all this takes place and nothing happens but a manager criticises a referee and he gets banned for 4 games!

Well Martin O`Neil does not know the law he is pig ignorant about what happened.
Also ref did stop match early as agreed with hearts due to player safety.
