Newcastle are my English team so I watch most of their games. AG has always been a difficult player to like due to his attitude, he seems to carry an entitled arrogance and looks like a vulture with that beak on his gormless mug. He flattered to deceive in the EPL but turned it on in the Champions league. Most of his goals were either penalties or unmissable 5 yard jobs. I won`t miss him one iota and when you consider what Newcastle paid for him, they aren`t making much profit on the sale if you go by the year on year rapid transfer fee rise.
Going by last summer`s signings, I don`t have much hope that the club will replace him with a gem. 50 million on Elanga shows that, he`s been useless. I can see Tonali and Livramento leaving too for reasonable fees. About 8 other squad players are leaving too at the end of their contracts, so lots of business required at St James Park.

His wages are going to be around £300k a week apparently - but that`s a lot less than what Marcus Rashford`s getting while on loan from Manchester United.
