 Electronic Scoreboard

Isn`t it about time that we had a couple of scoreboard`s at each end of the ground? On the stands behind the goals?

Supporters pay for a lot of things that happen at the club, just a suggestion, no need to get excited.

Not a bad idea tbh, scoreboard and game clock. It`d cost a fair whack, but would add to an already-cracking stadium

Obviously it wouldn`t be free, but perhaps not all that expensive. I think St Johnstone have had theirs since they moved to McDiarmid, and I noticed even Arbroath have one.

Good Idea, perhaps could get commercial sponsorship to cover the cost and also create revenue.

I noticed at Hampden that they had the monitors and had live play also. I watched it maybe once out of interest what it looked like. Apart from that I genuinely had no interest except for when it said Dunfermline so I could get a photo.
Would be good for the 50/50 though!

Imagine jumping on an idea that would be beneficial to fans with comments like this 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Could well be within the owners thought process, and if not, it might well be now 🤷🏻‍♂️ feel its something we have always lacked at EEP. Even above the dugouts would be alright for the majority.

Would be good between the SW and the Away end in that corner. Most of the ground will be able to see it

When I was a lad we had a scoreboard they put up halftime scores on chalk A-Z - had to look at the program to see what games they were

Would rather get a big screen put there so the officials can see how bad they are just like we can.

Surely not that dear to purchase a couple of waterproof TVs and mount them in opposite corners?

Saying that, I`m sure there are some other parts of EEP that need repairs first.

Yep that’s the obvious place to put a monitor. Plus one in front of the gymnasium NW and Norrie stand have a clear view of it.
Get team lineups, happy birthday messages, 50/50 draw and maybe some old highlights for half time to entertain the fans.

This too!

The mobile data connectivity must get hammered with so many people in one place as it`s really slow.

Edited to say, having public WiFi that asked for an email address (like most free services in airports etc) would be another way for the club to know who their customers are.

An electronic scoreboard would be a great addition to EEP.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

If I had the choice I would invest in a fast and reliable centre forward before an electronic scoreboard.

We will need the electronic scoreboard next season if we get a fast reliable centre forward in this season.

Why waste money on unnecessary toys . If anyone wants to know the score , I can tell them . I`m usually up to speed with that .

Surely a massive digital advertising screen (like Raith have) on the side walls of the main stand looking up and down Halbeath Road would be a start. It would pay for itself you`d think.

Fast reliable centre forwards aren`t exactly common place.

The best centre forward is the world (Harry Kane) is really slow. Would you turn him down because of that?

Probably the cheapest and easiest solution would be to copy Tynecastle and mount two screens on the inside of the end walls of the main stand.

........How about a big electronic pointer?

It could point to people sitting in the wrong seats at all ticket games.

If anything it would save on a long tedious thread on this board........

You’ve seen the Pars now please go home!
