Almost last chance to prove you are the best of the best.
As our Brian says, get your Trophy winner and top scorer in the frame before the start of the first match as well as that score.
Then sit back and relax until just before every other match (say over 100) and put those scores in.
Winning the Championship Prediction League with only 10 teams is easy.
But a World Cup with, who knows how many teams, well it is the real deal.

Yes, the lady on the London Tube said it finished 1-1.
Given I can no longer trust Buffy I took this ladies word for it!
Back in the hotel and just noticed the real score and made the change and hoped no one would notice.
During the league season it is easy as the dot.net prediction league feeds directly from the SPFL but for WC and Euro`s it needs manual input.

Please can you clarify whether the extra time in this context is actually added-on time (for injuries, substitutions etc), or is it extra time used in the WC round of 32 for matches that end in a draw after 90 mins?

So, if a match after the group stage finishes 1-1 after 90+5 minutes, but 3-1 after the extra 30 minutes is played, what will be the "Actual Score" for the Prediction League?

Yes, Matches 57 and 58 kicked off at 1am UK Time, but with about 10 minutes to go it`s still possible to enter a forecast - current scores are Japan 1-1 Sweden and Tunisia 1-3 Netherlands.
I was tempted by the bad angel on my shoulder to amend my predictions but the good angel on the other shoulder said "No!" and that Brian & co would issue a yellow card and points deduction for any amended forecasts after kick-off - hopefully ...

for the group stages where there is Extra Time that score will be the one used 3-1
(after ET penalties will not be taken into account)
I will check the scores for the games where time was wrong.

Parak - Stanza and I already asked Brian about this (see above) and he clarified it would be the score at the end of the extra time period, not the score at the end of 90mins plus injury time etc.

apologies for the confusion.
the Extra Time in a match is included in the actual result
"Extra Time" relates to a competition where the game has to be finished with Extra Time and penalties (result of penalties not included). It may not have been clear, but has been in operation for some time (years).

Edited as I am wrong. Assumed the score would be after 90 minutes (including injury/hydration time)as it usually is. Bets never include extra time.

In the Round of 16, Argentina will play Egypt and Switzerland will play the winner of the Colombia v Ghana match. The Prediction League has these the wrong way round.
Also, the League has pre-judged all the England games and is showing them reaching the final - could be right, but won`t be popular on this forum!

I keep trying to save my scores but it isn`t working. I`ve received emails saying that I`ve updated my results but they don`t save. I`ve missed out on many points due to this.
Not the end of the world but a tad annoying.

Can someone please check (and amend) the way the quarter-final matches are being shown?
My understanding is that Morocco will play France in the QF, but they are shown apart. Other QF matches are therefore wrong as well.
