Very impressive Ghana defending but they seem to panic once they`ve won it.

Shearer is a fanny. The way he carried on last season on MOTD whenever Sunderland won was a disgrace.

Why the heck does Rice continually pull one leg of his shorts up 🤷🏼‍♂️

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Shearer, Linekar, Richard’s, Carragher - I find absolutely painful.

I do think they’ll beat Ghana btw. They’re just missing the final ball at the moment.

Someones going to have to explain to me how that wasn`t a penalty to Ghana.

I didn`t see a touch on the ball from Konsa.

Bbc commentary completely ignoring it

Rooney saying it was a penalty on the BBC text commentary. How are refs missing all these decisions when they have the luxury of VAR?

Once again, no idea why a potential penalty hasn`t been looked at.

Either the officiating at the WC is really poor or we`ve become used to much more frequent use of VAR?

To be fair, in the post match the BBC have said unequivocally that it was a penalty...which it clearly was.

Why is VAR not getting involved?

Agreed. Fair play to them.

The more you see it it`s an outrageously poor decision from the VAR - the ref might have thought Konsa got a touch on the ball but VAR have no excuse.

Newcastle played an absolute blinder getting that amount of £££ from Barca for Gordon.

In the build up to this game they mentioned that the VAR team failed to spot there was an offside before awarding a penalty in another game, can`t remember which game they were referring to.
