The club is delighted to announce that Charlie Gilmour has been appointed the club’s new captain, with Robbie Fraser taking on the role of vice-captain for the season ahead.

JCM clearly away, however I believe that Charlie and Robbie are both very deserving of that. Both been outstanding for the club.

Yeah bye bye Jerry but you had the offer and didn’t take it.
Very happy with Charlie and Robbie getting these positions.
Both natural leaders.

Gilmour a model of consistency and I’d have made him captain last season.
Mullan looked great in some games but poor in others, he’s more easily replaced than either the new captain or vice captain.

Obvious choices but well-deserved nonetheless. Charlie just needs to stay aggressive but avoid needless bookings. I think he may have learned from having to ca` canny towards the end of the season to avoid suspension.
