Already in the World Cup, controversial VAR interventions or non-interventions about goals and penalties have eliminated Germany, Senegal and Croatia (maybe others, even Scotland!) The trophy could well be decided by a last-minute VAR intervention.
If VAR had been in use in the past, what big decisions or results affecting team or country could have been affected? I can think of a few for and against DAFC or Scotland, but I`ll leave it open to anyone to resurrect their favourite grievance!

The Hand of God incident might have warranted a review.

Goal line technology would have prevented the horrors of 1966.

Absolutely 💯 the penalty claims against Morocco at the US World Cup
Morocco dominated but it`s the scoreline that matters and we could have stolen a result there if VAR just raised it`s bloody eyebrow and had a look

Unfortunately it also would have seen the `ghost goal` given when Lampards effort was over the line vs Germany in 2010. The goal was denied by the officials but clearly over the line.

Paul Lambert`s dive to win a penalty at EEP in 2000. Equaliser from the spot then went on to win it late 2-1.
Oh wait that would still be given by Scottish VAR....
The game in question

Last game involving the old firm I ever attended (outside of cup finals). The awful abuse on the way to the stadium, giving the mutants 3 stands so we get nothing but threats and screaming from the North West stand, play well, finally get our noses in front and 1 min later Willie Young gives that penalty.
Walked out deciding, what`s the point. If they need help they will get it.
