I see you are still involved, albeit not to the level you were before, which I was sad to hear.
Is there a new platform for listening to or watching PARS games when at home? Or has that not been ironed out yet?
Let’s work our way back to Premier League 👌😀

Tod did a repeat of cup final with a through ball.
He really needs to work on this part of his game.
Keeper looks ok so far but no Terrell on the bench. Is he injured?
Pars look comfortable without a cutting edge so far.

watching on stream but SCH looks assured to me. We have a huge amount of possession without doing much in final third. Morrison particularly wasteful. Diffiicult to see far side action on stream - are we playing a left back or LWB- haven`t heard Fraser`s name mentioned.

J Tod maybe, but the new guy wasn’t really tested and looked comfortable.
Tod let a long ball run through him which led to a Kelty chance and passed the ball out of play not long before. Still need a couple of CB’s for me.

Terrell injured again? He seems to pick up a load of injuries for a goalie.
If it means we sign another 2 keepers I`m all for it though.
Anyone know about this Kieran Wright? Doesn`t have a lot of first team football for a 27 year old.

Both our keepers have knocks so Wright came in to cover today. Thought the new lad at the back looked relatively comfortable on the ball didn’t think he done anything wrong. We moved the ball about well enough without creating too much first half. Glad to see Bray getting a couple of goals second one a tidy finish. No injuries today which is good news and minutes in legs for most of the boys.

I`ll be surprised if it`s anything long term, the keeper situation has dragged on for a year and a half though it really needs sorted.
Ultimately "it`s a minutes in the legs " game, where we dominated possession, with knowing the stats it wouldn`t surprise if it was towards 70%, not really tested. The keeper made one good stop in the 2nd half but let himself down trying to play out which went for a corner at one point.
I believe the bounce game this week is against Rangers, which in contrast to today will provide more focus on other areas of the game.
fwiw Kallum .Higgingbotham was a trialist for Kelty.
I seem to recall two seasons ago we had no substitute keeper named for the League cup games, Mehmet played but we couldn`t name the academy goalie as they were too young for that competition, surely not again.

Was at the game today. Pars had most of the possession and looked pretty good against average opposition. John Tod was pretty good apart from the mistake which a better team would have definitely capitalised on. Thought the new boys all looked good and the goalkeeper looks competent without being overly tested. Morrison and Rudden were both innefective but energetic. Weird to see Bene in a coaching role.

on John Tod, it was his first minutes of preseason after having an injury, Terrell has a knock but might be available next week.
quotes from Lennon in the Courier.
“Obviously, we want to add to the squad,” added Lennon. “I mean, we’ve only brought three players in and we let 10 go.
“So we know that there are areas, goalkeeper for example, that we need to strengthen, which we will do as we go along.
“But quality rather than quantity would be the key. And that’s what we’re trying to do.
“So, hopefully, we’ll have a few more in this week.”

In this instance I do not control what Kelty Hearts do, I`m just a helper, I don`t get the money.
In the same vein, in other areas, I don`t make up prices, rules, etc I`m just a helper. I do not have control, the clubs make the decisions.

We think its always going to be tough to attract players to the championship. Obviously NL and the management team would be a draw as would it look likely we would be a team challenging for promotion. A mix of youth and a bit of experience will do us well this season.

As a result, it was very comfortable in the end, but pre-season games are apparently more about getting minutes in the legs as far as the coaching staff is concerned, and for providing hints as to likely formations or the ability of new signings for the fans.
It looked like a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 to me, possibly dictated by the lack of defensive options.
We had the vast majority of possession, but for the first hour were largely impotent in the final third. We’d build from the back, pass, pass, pass, pass (and indeed pass) our way up the park, then run out of ideas, lose patience, lose the ball, then start again. Fortunately Gilmour had time and space to find the corner from about 20 yards in the 10th minute, so if winning the game was important, we always looked likely to achieve this aim.
The first half was still frustrating though – I yearned for someone to decide that they were too good for the opposition and to show it.
We were more on top for the last half hour, after a raft of substitutions, which I put down to a combination of more enthusiasm, a gulf in the relative quality of the replacements between the two sides, and Kelty running out of steam a little.
Bray was unlucky his header from a corner crashed off the bar, but it more or less rebounded off him over the line, then he whipped in a good finish when Morrison retrieved a deep Rudden cross and cut the ball back.
The trialist keeper (Kieran Wright, I assume) was fine, didn’t have a lot to do, shouted a lot. He’s had an odd career – seems content to be number 3 at Rangers with the odd lower division emergency loan, rather than look for first team football.
John Tod and SCH were mostly untroubled, apart from one or two balls over the top.
Corbally looks like a “get it and give it” midfielder -neat and tidy, a little like Paul Allan on a first viewing.
Shaw did very little – had a chance which he hit straight at the keeper – but I thought he was left quite isolated – A Tod on the left and Morrison on the other wing were quite wide.
There was no substitute goalkeeper (not even an emergency registration for Collier) but all 8 substitutes were used.
Rudden came on at centre-forward.
Macleod initially on the left then moved to the right.
Fyfe was wide left.
Cooper as attacking midfielder
Amade as defensive midfielder
McLeod at right back
Davidson as RCB, and a bit of a surprise:
Freddie Rowe as LCB – I’ve never seen him there before, but he was OK – I guess his height and heading ability got him the nod over McLeod whom I have seen play in the middle at the back.
It was a surprise to see Kallum Higginbotham again – he’s not as old as I thought he was. he looked lively enough, maybe he could do a job. Is Craig Clay still there? I think Fisher is away.

Nothing to do with you but prices from Kelty were a disgrace for a pre season friendly. £15 adult and £10 for kids and pensioners.
£10 for a tv stream too is ridiculous at this stage of the season.
