Looking forward to it. Fancy ICT to shade it. I think Mark Wilson is starting to sound a bit arrogant with what he says.

It would be pleasing if Thistle don`t get 3 points - however if we can`t start winning it`ll not help our cause.

Bad news for me Dandy and General Zod, if your predictions materialise. I`m surrounded here by Partick Thistle fans who already have the league won after two games. They don`t look like losing tonight but I`m still hopeful Inverness can get an equaliser.

The average age of that Manchester United team was quite a bit older than ours at 26 years old. They had a good mix of experience, particularly at the back, to guide the starlets along.
Schmeichel, Pallister, Parker, Bruce, Irwin, Keane and McClair were a strong spine to bed the inexperienced (but talented) players in to.
I`m sure when we sort the tactics out and players get used to each other we`ll do alright this season but I reckon we`ll be inconsistent and struggle against the teams who have been around the block.

Is the ratio of experience to youth in our squad this season much different from any other team in the League? Most clubs have a few loanees who are usually young lads from Premiership clubs. We`ve actually added a bit of experience with the signings of Ox, Robinson and Shaw and Donnelly has a few Premiership games under his belt. Oyirwoth looks like he might be an old head on young shoulders too.

Think ICT will be there or thereabouts this season.
ICT, Ayr, Ross Co and Partick all seem to look physically stronger than our players.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Ross Co are in League 1 so we don`t need to worry about them! I think ICT may struggle to score goals from what I`ve seen of them against PT and us.

Completely agree, we are not strong enough. I don’t see us finishing above Partick, Livi or Caley. Mid table finish maybe 4th spot. Hope to be proved wrong.

I only managed to see the first half an hour, but it was a decent watch. The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the pace in both sides, which I think we lack. It was a similar problem last season. I haven`t seen any evidence of us rectifying that so far this season.
A draw is a good result for us, and today is a massive opportunity to get a reaction from last week and put a positive result on the board. We’re nowhere near the business end of the season by any stretch, but we can`t give teams sizable gaps or head starts, that hurt us last season. We need to start getting wins on the board.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Not sure how much depth they have for the inevitable injuries and suspensions but would be very surprised if Partick don`t finish top.
Good experienced guys at the back for this level, lot of pace and width in the team and i reckon Samuel will hit 15+ goals; really impressed me in the Firhill away game towards end of last season.

I think that PT are a strong team physically. I thought it was an even game. The lesson to ve learned for the Pars I think over last season, that NL has mentioned several times is to have a strong bench where players can come off the bench and change the game at different times. They are not "substitutes" thats a very outdated term, they are part of a squad of 15 or 16 players who form part of a team and could play at any stage dependent on circumstances. I don`t believe in football there is anything such as a best 11 who dont change during a season. Its best 15 or 16 players who win championships, not 11.
From watching PT I think tgey are a bit light in terms of what options they have as a squad, and absolutely we will be up there challenging for the championship title.

I thought Partick would have closed the game out last night but experienced subs like Watt and Mackay-Steven seemed to slow them down and make them more nervy. That was a delightful improvised cross from Paul Allan for the Caley goal.

I was thinking when Watt came on he was probably past his peak. Fitzpatrick has been a good player for PT and looked fit and sharp. They have a bit of physical strength I thought, but on anothe day ICT could have had a couple of more goals. PT faded the last 15 mins I thought.
