Ox..... if someone had scored twice they would have been MoM and he had the same impact.
Abdulai did have a very good game though.
Great to get the season started, especially against that mob.

Oxborough was great. SCH was great against Dowds. Cooper and Tod excellent off the bench.
Ox MOTM though, that save in the first half absolute class. Can`t believe he was third choice at Well - they must have some set of keepers....

I think Ox.
Abdulai, Lobban, SCH, Fraser all very good.
Amade & Oyerwoth were fine.
Bray - Excellent first 30-40 minutes or so then disappeared second half.
Adams - Meh
Rudden & Morrison - honking

That save from Oxborough in the first half was huge.
Both centre backs and Lobban looked really good as well for me.

SCH did very well against Dowds, especially given the fairly early yellow card.

Great saves from Ox. Abdulai was immense. Amade had 2 or 3 loose passes, but was fantastic other than that and never hid. Fraser was up for it and worked his socks off. Oyiworth (sp?) was also excellent.
The final third was mostly not up to much until Tod and Cooper came on.
The MOM choice was definitely between Lobban and SCH for me. Lobban was excellent going forwards and coped well with having to do Morrison`s job for him too. I`d give it to SCH though. He fought hard all night and won almost every battle. He never shirked a challenge and his forward runs clearly had the Rovers on the ropes.
It looks to me like the defence might start to pick itself from now on. I love seeing Abdulai and SCH (and John Tod) taking the ball on and making chances. Those attacking defenders could be real game changers for us this year, especially if the strikers are a bit goal shy.

Can’t complain about Ox getting it but I would have given it to Nuradeen personally

Lobban, although Oxborough, Abdulai and Cleall-Harding deserve mentioned in dispatches.
