You have to admire the way Stenny move the ball around. Sam Young looks pretty solid but he was lucky to get away with a shirt-pull in the box. Makes you wonder why we let him go.

Bruce Anderson had a penalty claim too. He’s been a bit hashy in his playing so far which isn’t like him. Always thought he was a good loanee.

Polworth almost pulls off a long distance cracker and plenty challenges coming in. Great!
Award for most ill fitting strip goes to the big lad Stenny signed today. Obviously didn’t have his size in stock 🤦♂️

It’s not plastic whistle we need to worry about. It’s Stenny!

Nice one. Can`t stand Livi and Stenny won`t win the league. More results like this please.

Momentum is keeping Stenny going and fair play to them.
It probably won’t last as the months go in but they are a handful and will take points of all the teams at the top.
Arbroath have shown that part time teams can compete at the top end of the league consistently.
We need to be looking at 6 points from our next two games to get us right in the mix.

I see Livi are on the telly again next Friday, away to Morton. That`ll mean three of the first five televised games of the season will have featured them. BBC must reckon they are `Box Office.`

And again at the end of the month away to Raith.

All the games are on a Friday night the particular weekend so our game against Thistle is on the Friday night

Why are all the Championship games on the Friday night for the last weekend in Sept?
Not your average Sunday League player.

I hate Friday night games…
I’ve got other commitments which are a pain to try and sort out - and it’s always the games I want to go to

I didn`t see anything in either team that should worry us, if we produce good performances in our future games against them.

Who would have predicted Stenny leading the league ?
Surely they can`t replicate their near neighbours of 2024-25 ?
They`ll be hard to beat at home, as Motherwell discovered.

If they can keep the same ref as they had last night they`ll have a chance!

They’ve had a great start but they’ve got a very small squad, they’ll find it tough in the next couple of months. All credit to them though, some brilliant results so far.
