No away fans today…
BBC :
“It`s going to be helluva loud at kick-off time but there won`t be any Celtic fans singing since there`s a ban on away supporters for this game and the four league derbies to follow.
It`s happened before. This time it`s from the fall out from the Scottish Cup meeting at Ibrox in March, which was marred by unrest, with pitch incursions from both ends.
Both clubs must play their next home Scottish Cup games behind closed doors.”

Dreadful game. No quality. Supposedly the best that Scotland has to offer.
4 Scots on the pitch.

That`s as poor a Celtic side as I think I have ever seen. McGregor is finished , the goalie is a bomb scare and they have several others masquerading as footballers. How Martin O`Neil is still in post I do not know.

Winning a double last season - and having 18 points from 18 so far this campaign - is probably your answer.

They are fine at steamrollering smaller domestic clubs, thats why they have 18 points. They got embarrassed in Europe yet again and now getting pumped in first OF of the season, by a poor Rangers team.
O’Neill should never have been given another year. Im shocked he even wanted it.

I`m surprised that he stayed on too.
I was just answering the query as to why he was offered the chance to stay on in the summer and why he`s still in the job now.

It’s surprising that managers don’t change tactics in game. Celtic continued to try to build from the back and continually got caught out, especially when you have a target man up front.
Rangers well worth the win and it could have been more.

I think it’s because lumping the ball away is seen as a sign of weakness even when it’s blindingly obvious they should do so at times.
