Ha.
I kinda don`t really mind about results at the moment. I think we`ll take care of ourselves this year without having to fixate on others.

I am watching the Ayr v Stenny game. Stenny are very comfortable on the ball in defence and midfield - lots of passing from back to mid. They look less. of a threat in final third but a great leap from Sam Young to head in.

Think if they win tonight it’s seven in a row !
I am sure our club record in all divisions in seven in a row….
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

It was mostly Stenny for first half hour but last 15 Ayr forced a number of corners which had the keeper ( who hasnt impressed) scrambling

Thats where our squad size SHOULD be an advantage when the injuries/suspensions start to ramp up later in the year. We need to take that advantage mind you.

I think that`s been the case in most of the Stenny games.
Someone posted about an `xG table` on here last week. I imagine they are a fair bit lower in that.
It`s a brilliant run they are in and I can`t wait to see us against them.

Raith clearly struggling last night with injuries but never laid a glove really all night.
Loud boos from the home support for simple mistakes or being too safe and keeping possession between the back 2.

Stenny have just taken Louis Lloyd, a Welsh striker, on loan from SJ for the rest of the season. He was an unused sub last night. Marvin Bartley reckons he`ll be a real asset once he attains Stenny`s level of fitness! I think he was referring to the fact he was injured during pre-season training with SJ. He was also plagued by injury last season.
After such a start to the season Stenny are obviously keen to keep it going by investing in their squad. They`ll have taken inspiration from Arbroath`s recent achievements in the Championship.

Rovers` "marquee" signings with a track record for being injury prone comimg back to bite them not even two months into the season.

Have to take my cap off to Stenny it`s been a remarkable start, but it`s September. They have a small squad and part time. They will drop off over winter as injuries, suspensions, postponements kick in.

How small a squad do they have I wonder? They had a full bench of 9 whilst Ayr only had 7. Raith only had 3 subs available and no goalie amongst them!

Arbroath have done not too bad in recent seasons under similar circumstances. They fell away towards the end of last season but still ended up in the playoffs.
