Yes we may have won the game. But once again multiple chances missed from strikers on great money. The players we have got are putting the club into millions of pounds of debt as shown on the balance sheet, with no reward.
The Neil Lennon young team project isn’t working.
The owners will soon realise this and we’ll have another M*sterton situation.

The players aren`t putting us into debt. We don`t have bank debt either. We were also at a cup final 5 months ago.
Other than that, spot on

We’re quite literally paying transfer fees for multiple players who will also be on huge money for this league. You can spin it any way you want but the bottom line is the club is living beyond its means.
If we had a team on the park blowing other teams away and seriously challenging at the top of the table it would be worth the risk, but right now it’s unsustainable. It’s not a sensible way for any club to be run. It’s not a never ending pot of money. This is especially true when the team we have on the park isn’t good enough and doesn’t reflect the investment.

We’ve not lost in over 2 months. All the strikers in the squad are capable of scoring. Whatever the missing ingredient is I’m sure it will be found. Win our game in hand and we are 4 points off top. Not bad for an “experiment” not working.
We are probably one of the best teams to watch play just now.

Not good enough in what way? We’re one point off the top four with a game in hand, against a club that’s in free fall.
Yes, we’re struggling to score goals, but we’re still on track for the promotion places, which is where we want to be. Winning games does strange things to people. 😂
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Who exactly is on huge money?

I’ve really enjoyed this season so far, bar the Ross County game felt we’ve been playing some excellent football, majority of the possession, have arguably the best keeper and defence in the division, our midfield is solid.
It’s just those wingers and striker spots we need to brush up on. I’d like to see us give Shaw more of a run, like Connor Young, they are both goal scorers albeit at a level below but don’t think they’ve had much of an opportunity to be honest.
Giving Shaw more game time, I reckon he’ll find more success in front of the goal than Adams ever will. Agree that Adams seems more effective on the wing.

I think Adams will press more up front than Olly Shaw. Olly Shaw I feel is more likely to get us goals. Agree I thought Callum Morrison did well when he came on. Not a game easy to get in to with the conditions. An important result and the team produced the goods for the three points.

I think our finishing has to improve but I`m not ready to throw the towel in on our manager because of it.
It may come good on it`s own, some wee tweek may be required or we may be under some strange gypsy curse.

Winning away from home and keeping a clean sheet are a rarity. I`ll take any win away from home, if we are right in the mix come January I`m sure we will push the boat out for a better quality of striker

For what it’s worth we paid a fee for 6 of the players we had on the bench today with none looking like first choice starters.
Surely Morrison will be on really good money, same with shaw and both have had minimal impact this season.
We paid a fee for keaney last season and was hoping it might be his breakthrough season for us after settling in but now another teams player is in ahead of him meaning he doesn’t play.
We an undoubtedly living outwith our means this season and it’s not sustainable long term but while Bord and co keep going we should be okay. If we don’t get up in the next few years and haven’t sold anyone for enough to cover some of these losses then it’s time to be worried.
Finding a gem of a striker is where the big sell on will come (ie Nesbit) but Lennon has yet to sign a decent striker who can take us to the next level.

3 points away from home in terrible conditions. Be happy with the result. 1-0 or 5-0. A win is a win.
