So that's eight labour and the tories quit and joined this new party...
However should that spark eight new by-elections?
From my understanding we vote for a representative from a party (which is why a PM can change without a new general electing)
So if they were voted in on their party manifesto, how can they remain as that constituency MP as they no longer can assume they command that elected majority?

I've never understood why defections by MPs from a party don't automatically trigger a by-election.

Even more absurd is if the new party rises to more than 35, they would be the third largest party in Westminster despite not having been elected under the new guise or policies or a manifesto.

And as the 3rd largest party they would get 2 questions at PMQs instead of SNP. So no more weekly sightings of Ian Blackford being a total embarrassment.

Embarrassment ?
He was the only one to mention the fact that the Tories and the labour party were in meltdown .
It was business as usual for those real embarrassments May and Corbyn .

Exactly. It is embarrassing to hear Scots bringing down their own.

Now that really is a cringe reply.
Your obsession with Rangers is really something else.
