Apparently there's a guy outside Westminster today selling Donald Trump toilet rolls to celebrate the Special Relationship. His sales pitch is 'If you want to take a dump, do it on Trump'.
He's obviously an entrepreneur but I don't think it's Jeremy Hunt.

His position became untenable due to Trump’s responses and his exclusion from several events he would ordinarily be expected to attend.
Sensible decision in the circumstances.
Time to move on and find the source of the leak.

I'll have a wild guess that the nut I put as US ambassador had a bit to do with it.My worry is that if we do end up out of the EU that 'cant use these words here' will be no longer an MEP and Trump likes him.
Like UKIP he'd dump his Brexit party to look after himself and that's his sort of important job.
Nice teaparty with Trump,Johson and Farage.

It became untenable because Boris didn't back him. He should have.

What had he done wrong?
Is it normal for a top politician to refuse to back a top diplomat who was doing their job exactly as asked?

Precisely, Wotsit. This is why nations have diplomats abroad; to provide their government with sound and honest appraisals of the political, social and economic situation in the countries that they have been dispatched to. Without having the ability to do that, their role is meaningless.

And now he's been caught lying about, of all things, kippers.

Apparently the firm who made the ice pack he was waving around with the kipper is from Glenrothes and they weren't very happy with BJ's lies about food hygiene laws.
I hope that the first act of his new government will be to repeal the Westminster laws which he incorrectly blamed Brussels for. He's been really quiet about it since mind you.
Probably because he's too busy increasing the the NHS budget by £350 million a week. He was really keen to let us know that he was going to do that - he even put it on a bus with was named after him so I expect he's busy arranging that.

He was asked about his false claim about the kippers in the Commons today - but didn't take the bait. 😊😊😊
